Ugh Sungrass is so hard to spot. It starts showing up a lot in Ferals but it is so hard to locate. The best thing you can do is zoom in your minimap all the way then get as close to the yellow dot as you can. If you still can't find it move your pointer all over the screen then maybe you'll locate it.

Where is the lowest area to find this stuff. I find it odd that I have the potions needing this at a low level and cannot get any components till much higher.

Feralas and The Hinterlands have this stuff. I'd recomment hitting Feralas though, lot less cloaker wolves to worry about...

Is sungrass found in the tops of trees? I've run all around this tree and can't find it, but my indicator shows it where the tree is.

What's probably happened is that the herb has spawned inside the tree trunk...it's happened to me in Feralas...even some mobs spawn inside trees occasionally...there was once a problem with a gnoll doing it on Fenris Isle and a Moonrage Whitescalp doing it near Sepulcher

Hinterlands is by far the best place to get sungrass. It can be found everywhere just lying around on the ground. And in contrast to Faralas, none of it seems to be bugged

Aszurshara or whatever (right above OG) has a ton of this. Its low 50's but i ran through and avoided everything or picked off the occasional unit with my level 46 mage and it really paid off. even the xp for exploring was pretty good, and when i go back ill know where im going on the map and have the flypoint :)

The best place to get herbs w/o Herbalism is to get it from level equivalent chests. However, the herbs you do get from them are random.

im a 36 rogue and i have no problem going into higher lvl areas to get herbs, but ive never been to any of the places u guys say sungrass is, and could one of u tell me what lvl range monsters in these areas r ?

If the post over there is true than the blasted lands is more or less level 48-50 thats pretty much it except for the tainted scar and a couple of qs very cozy place to grind greens Hard to believe about the sungrass though

I found about 10 an hour in blasted lands.

But, feralas is everywhere. I get about 20 a run. If you cant find stand on it in the minimap and walk back about 5 feet.

If you still cant find, buy some glasses. That might help.

Or hell just give up looking for it, so I can grab it. lol

I have found this everywhere in the Hinterlands. I've got such an overstock of it. Quest in the Hinterlands for a bit, and you'll come acorss this plant so much you'll jsut start ignoring it :p

When your in Feralas farming for this stuff it blends in with the enviroment real well so take your time looking for it. Believe me its there, just watch where your standing.

In Season of Discovery phase 2, there are only three ways players can pick Sungrass—as Herbalism is capped at 225, and this herb requires 230 to pick.

As a Tauren, whose racial trait Cultivation increases their Herbalism by 15 (up to 240).
While equipped with Herbalist's Gloves, increasing Herbalism by 5 (up to 230).
While equipped with gloves enchanted with Enchant Gloves - Advanced Herbalism, increasing Herbalism by 5 (up to 230).

In SOD if you go to Hinterlands to pick this herb, you'd better be ready to fight for every one. Mobs are 39-41, and near EVERY herb location. A stealth-enabled toon like rogue w/vanish or druid might do o.k. at level 38. Bring herbalist's gloves or enchantment, or be Tauren, as these herbs are level 230. Level 225 by itself won't do.
