killed 62 mobs so far and still have not got it. Such a funny way to get the rune blizz. I guess im gonna skip it out like I skipped the totem projection in p2 on shaman,

GUYS, dont make the mistake i made and farm about 500 Mobs while it's heavily guarded by Horde etc. The Chiffre can be pickpocketed by about 23% droprate, while the droprate is 0,1%, not many people know this yet so if you pay rogues 5g, you can easily get ur's and the chiffres go for 30-40g at our AH at the moment. I dont know about the Shadow Mages tbh but it should be tested. The Thiefes are fieldtested i told a rogue and he had it about 10 minutes while i was farming for like 4h.

Also if you got both items and combined them you can invite 4 more priests to your group and everybody can loot the rune. If you have some Priests who are frustrated farming they will pay 20-30g too.

I am not sure the reported 23% drop chance from pick pocketing is accurate.

The first one I tried gave me the cipher, but I did another 40+ and didn't get a single one (looking to sell for gold gains).

Either the drop rate is lower, or there's some sort of limit or cooldown going on.

Spent about 6 hours over three days killing these Wastewander Thieves to try and get this to drop and it hasn't. This is an insane grief level of drop rate for a required class rune. I'm going to be Exalted with Gadgetzan before I see this thing.

Typical terrible design by Blizzard. Literally every Wastewander Thief in the zone is dead at all times because every priest/shaman is farming the 1% drop and there are hardly any of them to begin with. You can't even tag the thieves nevermind pickpocket them. The cipher is 65g on AH last I checked and it's the only way to get the rune at this point.

Asking a rogue to go try and pickpocket one for you is easier said than done. They will either not answer or say no because why would they want to spend an hour or more pickpocketing mobs for someone else? If they did they would sell it on AH.
