Rank 7 provides 232 base attack power.

With 3 pieces of Wrath equipped, 30 attack power is added to the shout, for 262 attack power.

With 5/5 improved shout you get a bonus of 25%.

262 * 1.25 = 327.5 attack power.

I tested this on my warrior, and the attack power bonus with all these improvements is 327. The buff tooltip still says 232, but the correct amount is added to your character sheet which is all that matters.

The best part is that you dont have to keep wrath gear on to maintain the bonus for the duration of the shout.

So do this while out of combat: put on wrath, battle shout, put on pvp gear, enjoy +327 attack power for 2-3 minutes. Excellent for grinding or pvp if you use it correctly.

Do you need a new book everytime you respec? Anyone know?

Why would you? It's battle shout, not an ability that you lose when you respec like Mortal Strike.

i went to ossi with a random grp, 1 aq40 equipped warri, an arms offtank and me, fury

at ossi he won the bracers and this and was so happy
he gave this to me, cause he said it was more usefull for a fury :-)

later on ayamiss he didnt roll for heroic strike IX f or me ^^

at buru he also got hs-book ^^

on my bar it says increase attack power by 275 but when i put the buff on it says 232..why does it say 2 different things?

Why, no one said you would have to buy It, and bliz have ALWAYS said that it would be trainable for TBC(as rank 8 will be trainable)

In all honesty, ANYTHING you cna buy in this game would be a waste of gold, seeing as you will always find something to upgrade it with.

And anyone with a low level warrior looking at these on the AH, dont even bother wasting your gold on em, as the esteemed gentlemen below said, trainable now at level 60 from your friendly local warrior trainer.

If your fury, or have points into improved battle shout, and you get this book, it's a total of 290 attack power. But up where your buffs show it only says 232, though your real addition is in fact 290. In all, this book gives you fury warriors +58, worth it indeed. Just go to AQ 20 yourself and kill the first boss. Instead of spending gold, spend DKP.

this is now trainable from trainer. so what do I do with the book?

If this drops always try to get it if you are a warrior. It is worth any DKP cuz it will never be replaced. Plus it is usually cheap DKPwise. If you have Imp Battle shout and you have this let your raid leaders know so they can know to place you more with a DPS group to get the most out of it. Rogues and Arms warrs will love you for the 290AP.

850g is not worth it unless you have the money. I know somone that found it like the first day it came out. I am a pro spec, which would make a tiny bit of sense why i do not NEED it like 100%, but it's way to over priced

with 5/5 improved bs i'm doing 290 with the new rank, so it gave me around 50 attack power
