This took me about 4-5 hours of farming 2 spawn locations in charred vale. One around 37, 72 by the mountain and 28, 73 also by the mountain. It seems that there are only 2 furious elementals that spawn with timers ranging from 15-45 min. I think it helps to kill things around the area to speed up spawn rates. If you are farming with a group keep in mind that only ONE PERSON can get it at a time. Repeat, it is NOT A GROUP DROP. Brutal quest please make it 100% drop rate and a group drop.

This is not a guaranteed drop, I had to kill 7. It drops from Furious Stone Spirits and from Enraged Stone Spirits. This is clearly the hardest mote you'll have to get.

There are 2 spawn spots of Furious Stone Spirits at the lower end of the Charred Vale, one on the bottom right and one on the middle to bottom left. They share a spawn with Burning Destroyers (which are only present on the southern part of the vale), Blackened Ancients and Charred Ancients (even though these are the lower level version and present in the northern part). They don't share their spawn with Enraged Stone Spirits or Burning Ravagers which are more in the northern part.

Go back and forth with a /target macro on the southern side of the vale killing any fire elemental or treant you find, and you will start to see them after 20 minutes or so.
