You do not have to grab the quest from Loganaar. Just go get the owls and then turn into Loganaar.

The correct location of the the Symbol of the First Owl is actually /way 86.9, 43.2. Not 89,41 as listed above.

Symbol of the First Owl:
-Head to Ashenvale
-Head to an area behind Satyrnaar to the North-East.
-See a Night-Elf structure (gazebo?) with a bright light shining down.
-Owl statue is right next to this structure.
-Protect a wisp as three waves of enemies attack.
-You can not heal the wisp, you are "supposed" to use bear form to pull aggro away from the wisp.
-You don't have to use bear form and pull aggro just make sure the wisp doesn't die.

Symbol of the Second Owl:
-Head to Duskwood.
-Go to Twilight Grove (Enter from the South end)
-In North-East end of Twilight Grove is a moonwell with the owl statue next to it.
-Grab the buff (lasts 60 minutes, moret han enough time)
-Exit Twilight Grove from where you entered, head East and hug the mountain range heading North towards Brightwood Grove.
-FInd Agon wandering Brightwood Grove.

Symbol of the Third Owl:
-Head to Hillsbrad Foothills.
-In the water offshore are two small islands. One is due South of Hillsbrad Fields, the other is due South of the river mouth.
-Head to one of the islands (order does not matter).
-Touch the owl statue and you will receive a 2 minute buff.
-Swim to the other island and touch the other owl statue while the buff is still active.
-You may need seal form in order to swim the distance in the required amount of time.

Once you have all 3 Owl Symbols, turn them in at the Druid trainer in Moonglade, he stands outside of the large main building to the south end of the village.
