The quest is definalty for the horde
I Dont know about it for the alliance

It appears that this is for a horde only quest. If you are alliance, sell the individual pages. If you bind the chapters it becomes a quest item that cannot be sold.

ı have 1-2-3-4 pages but ı cant click for exam: when ı click on 1 missing reagent 1 says.

Collect as many duplicates of these as you can while you're doing the quest, people will pay for them. I sold mine at 5s 50b each, but may have undercut myself. They ALL sold in 24 hour auctions.

This is a bug, I found a work around for it though.

I had pages 1-4 and tried to combine them and got the same "missing regeant" error, so I bought a second copy of page 1 and right clicked on page 1 to combine them and that worked. Hope this helps.

This item must be a myth... i've been killing Satyrs for hours and have seen many copies of every page except this one.... and I have pages 2-12 ready to use, but for the life of me, can't get this to drop...

This ones really bugging me, ive spent over 40 hours killing everything looking for the number one page, ive even tried writing my own and pushing it into my cd draw, but that dosent work either. this is the 1st bug ive come across in the game,,and also ive never seen the page in the AH, its a bit like god i think,,only exists in peoples minds. i like to complete all my quests but think i will have to give up on this one in ten years or so of looking. ive put the other duplicate pages in the AH for 3 silver but no one wants them,they are only after number 1,,im now going to sell them for 1 or 2 copper and i will soon have 50 gold from the sales

i have the opposite problem, on laughing skull there are more than a dozen page 1 currently in AH however i simply cant find page 3 or 10 anywhere

Heh, it actually took me a while to figure this simple thing out:

I originally thought these were missing pages from some book that I hadn't found yet, so I kept asking around trying to find the actual book to add these pages too. Instead, by combining pages to create the chapters, you're making the book from scratch.

To combine pages into a chapter, just right click any of the pages in the set. If you have enough pages for a complete chapter, the combine will work.

This will free up valuable inventory space.
