Can someone tell me if its a drop or quuest item plz. <pretty soon ill be asking is it JEWELCRAFTED! i cant wait for that > but for now is it a quest or dropped and where/whom plz no1 has a post on this awsome ring..

The ring is a questitem.. when you have killed the emperor in BR you get a followup where you get that!
Cant wait until getting it myself^^

OK, here's some info:

The ENTIRE quest line is first pickup-able @ lvl 54 and starts with https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=3702/the-smoldering-ruins-of-thaurissan
You accept, listen to her story, hand in then get:
https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=3701/the-smoldering-ruins-of-thaurissan
This section is in the Burning steppes and is rather annoying if you are indeed below 54, jsut a heads up. After that return to the woman hand it in then the KING gives you the quest chain here:

This is where the group part starts and you need to go to BRD. After finding Kharan, you get this part of the chain:

Head back to the king deliver the news, get to BRD kill the emp, talk to the princess he has under his spell, she'll give you: https://www.wowhead.com/classic/quest=4363/the-princesss-surprise

Go back to IF hand it in then it's somewhat of a mystery,I believe the king gives these out after all of your effort, hand the quest above in and complete, then open up another speach window with him and he offers them...although it is odd that thottbott has no source for the rings, so it makes me wonder, anyhow I hoped that help with some of the mystery! I'll post once I get the entire thing finished!

I'm a horde rogue and was sorely dissapointed to see how much better this ring is than the horde "equivilent".
This ring = 6str, 7stam, and +1% crit
Horde ring = 4str 7stam, and 150 armor...

I believe that similar Horde and Alliance quests should have similar rewards. Not rewards that help one class for alliance and kinda help druids for horde.

The other ring offered is the exact same for both factions. Why not this one?

i have the Blackstone Ring and and Masons Fraternity Ring. I also have this ring but i dont know if i should use it. it doesnt have any agility. im a rogue. i know it has alot of crit but i dont know. im a noob so fucC u.

nevermind. im gonna use it. just checked again and it's worth it. thanks anyway.

Pre-Req is Ruins of Tharissuan(sp) in Burning Steppes. Then Ya gotta kill the emporer of BRD without harming the princess period, i believe, to get this ring along with some other good items.

Wouldn't use this over the +13agi ring from ZF.

Maybe I don't value crit as much as all of the other hunters, but I do have the +15% agility talent, so it makes more sense to get agility. The more agility I get, the more agility I get from the talent.

Did it yesterday without any hassle. The trick was:
Take a priest with you. While fighting the King, let priest heal as much as priest can, soon enough priest will draw aggroe from princess. Now priest concentrates on healing him/herself and doesn't ever hit or curse or whatever the princess. Without the healing of the princess the King is cake (either have an additional Druid to heal fighters or, in case of being Alliance, take a paladine and let him heal the fighters). After the King drops the princess turns "friendly" though she suffers from Stockholme-Hostage-Syndrome and is not too grateful. Anyways, this is the easiest way to kill the King.

Group that did it yesterday:

60 Warrior
57 Priest
58 Mage
60 Paladine
60 Huntress

For horde this quest series starts in one of the cells in the SE wing (right as you enter the dungeon)

You kill the jailor to get the key or pik the lock, up to you.

This is basically Painweaver's Band without having to roll against 10 other people in UBRS. Sure, it has like 4 less AP and 10 less HP, but that's kibbling bits in my opinion. It's the same ring, just a lot easier to get.

As for everybody else, not so much quite as good as Painweaver, but screw them!
