Really good for a combat Rogue trying to level fast since it got high agility and some strength, could've had more strength, but you can't get everything

For the person that said you cant solo this at 50, your wrong. My buddy(50 hunter) killed about 5 sets of the hunters untill it droped(i didnt help i pull to much agro at 42).
As for where he is... He's at the spot where the road splits, there's a fountin w/ 4 guys kneeled infrount of it. Stealth in and have the hunter in and playdead. Stand on those rocks and kill the shadowhunters, after 8min they respawn and if your lucky he will too. If he doesnt just stay there and keep killing those same 2 shadowhunters that are patroling there.
Just get a high lvl and stay stealthed the whole time as you will pull way to much agro.

there is a way to keep killing him over and over. i did this last night. if you're soloing you want to sap the guy who walks with him and attack like crazy on him.

now if you don't get the drop you want, let the guy with him kill you. then head back to the instance and res.

since you didn't kill the bodyguard, the rare miniboss can respawn.

today these dropped but i looted right b4 my entire group died so we were talkin about who should get it while we were all going back to the instance. (im 44 human rogue-terenas) Then they decided i should get em'. so i went to the guy to loot him cuz we had all passed on em' cuz they are blue (norm loot rules) and right as i get to him he frican dissapears!his corpse goes away!
i was so pissed off! but ill get over it..plus ima just do like 10 runs for him with my guild..ill get these boots even if i have to play for 4 hours (which is hard for me)

I did this today as a lvl 52 rogue, I snuck in, saw Zerillis and went to the hill on the right side.

If Zerillis is behind on the pathing, you can use distract and seperate the two guys if you time it right. When the other has moved away you can drop down, attack Zerillis and move him slowly onto the hill where it's safer. (As a rogue if I did get adds I was able to vanish)

He's on a 10 minute or so timer, you just wait, he will respawn (as long as you didn't kill his pathing-buddy) and then you go again.

I killed him 11 times today and on the last go got my boots.

When you walk into zf, you encounter a couple fountains. I would first like to add that Zerillis is a rare spawn. When you come to the 2nd fountain, the one right after the shortcut, you will see two pats (patrollers walking around in the same formation) circling the fountain. Zerillis is one of those two pats. If he is not there, then he didnt spawn, which gives you two options. 1. Move on and come back 10 minutes later to see if Zerillis is there (the pats respawn after ahwile so Zerillis is a better rate) if not, kill the pats and repeat the 10 minute step. 2. If you are in a nice party, they will reset the instance for you so that you can hurry the cooldown time of the pats by clearing up to there and checking if Zerillis is there. Also, i did this, it would be a lot easier if you were a rogue (which most players are who want this item) and get another, if possible 60, rogue to help you. Lvl 60 Rogue tired of trying to get Shadowcraft boots and I'm wearing Abyssal leather boots of striking, they suck. So I decidced to get these. Reset untill you see Zerillis. Stand on the northern dirt hill and wait for him to get close, distract just Zerillis and let his guard walk a safe distance away and beat Zerillis's ass. Loot him and restealth to hill again. Wait about 8-10 minutes and he will be back, rinse and repeat. You can get approx. 7-8 greens an hour with this method and you only have to fight every 8 minutes. You can go kill grave mobs or clean you're room while you're waiting. Sometimes the drop rate on the boots is real unlucky, I got 15 greens before I finally got his boots. Came out with about 20G in profit though. Very nice.

Got these last night with my 48 dwarf rogue combat spec. RAn it with a grp and it didnt drop. Went back in after the grp disbanded and they droped. Started out by saping his add. At about 40% health i had to burn a greater health pot. At 20% he netted me i vanished out and cheap shoted him right as teh add came out of teh sap. Burned teh rest of my cooldowns adn finished him off. looted him and got them first try. Died trying to get out though:( Oprahsminge on Nathrezim server

46 feral druid and 42 subtle rogue

nailed it the first time by killing the additional patrol. then i went bear and tanked them both on the hill to the right. killed, looted ankles, died to adds.

every time after that we couldnt reproduce it due to the hex on the rogue and me getting netted. they run away once you are netted to get range and innevitably aggro'ed some more. one of the harder stealth runs.

Randomly dropped while I was in ZF collecting troll temper. Better than the green boots I had before.

Plus, since they're only ankleguards, these show off my huge dwarf feet.

He just spawned twice while we were waiting for a guy who got disconnected.
He dropped the boots both times.
