Unfortunatly, the cretors of WOW didnt take all the words put into the game, and cross reference them with all the other languages and dialects to make sure they werent offensive. Oh wait, thats just inpracticle.

Fanny pack though, lazy blizzard could of changed it for the european version, but you should be grateful you can do this quest...more xp towards 60 :)

it is not meant to be offensive at all. Because it is a international game, there are bound to be mistranslations. there is no way to check every word against every language, without completely ruining the game... because, for example, bloody is a swear word in britain, so blizzard would have had to substitute something for that also, and it would go on and on. with asian, australian, american, and european slang and languages to account for, there would be literally thousands of accidental offenses.

Keep it americanised. Makes me lol every time I hear the term 'fanny pack'. Maybe they should over americanise and call them &*!@# packs.

Ornate Greaves of the Whale came out of it for me. Though i wish they woudl un americanise "fanny" packs. means somethign quite different in the UK
