when u have the cloak on... as soon as you jump dont use it wait till your bout 20 ft. above ground so you dont die :p

I use this to base jump off the cliff into thousand needles (where you usually take the elevator down). It's also useful if you ever want to take the shortcut from redridge into the swamp of sorrows through the mountains. Normally it requires you to die when you jump off the mountain, but with this you can survive the fall.

Another thing to note is, it slows your vertical drop rate, but does not slow movement in other directions. End result is you might be able to use it to make a jump from a tall ledge to a lower ledge that you normally couldn't make. If you're a rogue and combine this with sprint, you might be able to get some place in the game that no other class could. Who knows. I'll be keeping a look out.

This dropped for me yesterday in Tanaris, it looks pretty cool too. It's white and looks longer than your average cloak or cape.

No really, it does look pretty cool, kinda like the Cloak of Shrouded Mists. You could wear it to a wedding or something if roleplaying is your thing.

This is what you need when you use the safe transporter and appear a mile above the town. My last 2 engineers were mages so that was no biggie, but it's great for my shaman.

The biggest drop I know of is in Darnassus. Go to the back and you can climb over the ledge and drop down on the beach somewhat near Rutheran Village. I don't have this parachute yet, so I haven't tried it. But I have tried jumping it on my own to see how long it would take. It's a pretty long fall.
