This is the warrior's Tier 1 set, all of the pieces are found in The Molten Core.

The first "tanking" raid set obtainable to warriors, all in Molten Core, a 40 man in Blackrock Mountain

First piece is the gloves from Lucifron.
Second piece are legs from Magmadar
Third piece are boots from Gehennas
Fourth piece is helm from Garr.
Fifth are shoulders from Sulfuron Harbinger.
Sixth is chestpiece from Golemagg the Incinerator.

Seven and eight are the bracers and belt, obtainable from the various non-bbss mobs in the zone.

very nice for defense , but dont go for it if you are fury you better go non-sets then.

Ideal beginner raider's tank set.
This set has the ability to hold its own on the first few BWL Bosses
And can easily hold up on Onyxia, however some dark iron gear is better for tanking her.
This is not suggested for pvp, however, like all tier gear, a warrior can sure make it with the flag across the wsg field wearing this stuff =D

nice tanking gear. ofc Battlegear of Wrath is better. its good cause everybody who doesMC can get it. MC is easy so its no prob. here are some things its good to know :

Battlegear of Might = very nice tanking set for end game warriors, but some parts like the Gloves, or Belt can be easily used for PvP as well.

Bracers of Might are BoE, not BoP so if u have lots of money, u can buy it from AH from times to times. in my server its sold for 500-600g. kinda much for common bracers but wtf... its tier 1.

If u think that +block with a shield must be the highest possible, Breastplate of Might is the thing for you, cause of its high +3% to block with a shield.

If u think high HP owns all, Helm of Might is the thing for u. i say that cause of its increadible +35 stamina so its +350 hp from a head slot item only. ofc there are better Helms than that, like Helm of Wrath that gives +40 stamina or Dreadnaught Helmet with an amazing +45 stamina, but this post is for people whos guilds can only do The Molten Core.

there are 2 reasons i want this full set,

1. the 8th set bonus is vry vry good!
2. if your guild cant get past razorgore anymore, well then there we go might as well get the next best thing.

this set is vry good for high end warriors, but if your guild cant get into bwl that far...why go for 2/3 pieces of wrath anf get no set bonus.

Dwarves look AWESOME in this set! They look better in this set than they do in tier 2! come here http://worldofwarcraft.com/info/items/armorsets/ and check out the male dwarf warriors for tier 1!

I dont see why everyone keeps comparing Might with Wrath and Dreadnaught. Of couse they are betetr as they are tiers 2 and 3, this is tier one. I think the set is great, but the other two are still better. :)

The 5-pc bonus is pretty good in PvP. It procs a lot and I'm fairly certain it procs off of periodic damage.

I have confirmed that it does indeed proc off of periodic damage.
