Babbo Inverno è qui! or Babbo Inverno è qui!, requires level 10
Start: Kaymard Pinzarame, Nardstrum Pinzarame, Whulwert Pinzarame or Macey Taschepiene, Wulmort Taschepiene, Khole Taschepiene

This quest's objective is pretty self-explanitory--simply obtain the quest from the Smokywoods Pasture vendor in any major Horde or Alliance city and head to your Ironforge or Orgrimmar to complete it. Horde players turn the quest in to the orc Babbo Inverno in Orgrimmar, and Alliance players to the dwarf Babbo Inverno in Forgiardente. A new quest will become available:

Another pretty simple quest provided you've trained Cooking and don't mind grabbing the materials for the Pan di Zenzero (one Piccolo Uovo and Spezie Festive each). Just bring him 5 cookies and a glass of Latte Ghiacciato (which can be bought from vendors). As a reward, you will be given a Pacco Regalo della Masseria Buongusto which contains some low-level reagents: Lingotto di Rame, Magareale, Rotolo di Lino, Cuoio Leggero.

You will later receive a Campione Omaggio della Masseria Buongusto in the mail which contains the notable consumable Pasticcio Agrodolce di Graccu.

The questgiver will give you a book entitled Vigilia di Grande Inverno to read, which contains some insight into the different races' celebrations of the holiday. Once you have read the book you are asked to bring it to either Cairne Zoccolo Sanguinario in Thunder Bluff or Re Magni Barbabronzea in Ironforge, who will reward you with 200 reputation with their respective city.

Abominable Greench - Quest for Rare Recipes

Stolen Winter Veil Treats or Il furto dei dolci di Grande Inverno, requires level 30
Start: Kaymard Pinzarame or Wulmort Taschepiene
End: Strano Pupazzo di Neve
The treats have been stolen and you must find the Strano Pupazzo di Neve to learn more about the thief. Strano Pupazzo di Neve is located at 34,70 by Growless Cave in Alterac Mountains. A new quest will become available:

Turns out that Racksum Greep has stolen the treats! Slay him and retrieve the Dolce Rubato so that the Smokywood Pastures guys can get on with the holiday festivities! Racksum Greep kill credit is party-wide, so make sure to group up with four other players for this quest to increase your chances of tagging the mob. The Racksum Greep can spawn in any area with Yetis in Alterac Mountains, and he will announce his spawn with a yell.

Once you have turned in the Dolce Rubato, you will receive another quest:

Simply speak to the Great(-)father and claim your reward! You will receive a Regalo Speciale della Masseria Buongusto which contains a seasonal tradeskill recipe! The recipe you receive is random so you may be able to trade with other players or guildmates for one you might need. If you don't get the recipe you want, you can always check the Auction House or wait until next year.

Open the special gift to get one of the following recipes at random:

Metzen the Reindeer has been stolen and it's up to you to save him with the Sacchetto di Polvere di Renna. Metzen la Renna can be found in one of two locations: 66,35 by a Dark Iron camp in Searing Gorge, or 71,48 by the Southsea Pirates off the coast of Tanaris.

You will receive 5x Agrifoglio Conservato and 200 reputation with Cartello degli Spargifumo cities. In addition, you will be sent a mail with Regalo Superspeciale della Masseria Buongusto which contains 20x Pasticcio Agrodolce di Graccu. Freeing Metzen also unlocks an additional quest, if you have 300 Cooking:

Healers: The usefulness of Spirit really depends on how often you cast spells. If you're able to spend seconds without casting any spells, Spirit is a very useful way of regeneration Mana.

Innervate targets: Innervazione is a Restoration Druid talent that greatly increases your Mana generation, as well as ignoring the Five Second Rule while active (so you're able to regenerate Mana via Spirit even while casting spells).
If you're a Innervate target, it is advisable to find a weapon with large amounts of Spirit and a Spirit enchant. Since you're able to swap weapons in combat, this is a great way to benefit even more from Innervate.

The Feast of Winter Veil is upon us, and Greatfather Winter is busy spreading holiday cheer in major cites across the land! Here are a few holiday treats players can experience in-game:

The Jinglepocket Goblins have set up their seasonal fare shops in major cities. Adventurers can purchase many holiday favorites - including Greatfather's Winter ale, candy canes, gingerbread cookie recipes, and mistletoe.
All the cheer-spreading is making Greatfather Winter hungry, and he is looking for adventurers to get him his daily fix of milk and cookies.
Smokeywood Pastures needs a few brave adventurers to investigate the disappearance of a shipment of holiday goods traveling though Alterac.
Unconfirmed reports say that consuming eggnog during a snowball fight can have some chilling results.

Snowballs do actually knock down players in Classic, but only if they're in your group. In addition Mistletoe can only be used on other players, meaning someone else has to use it on you. You can also skip the 60 minute cooldown on gathering Mistletoe by dieing!

Nobody has mentioned the Winter Veil Disguise Kit, that turns you into a snowman. It arrives in the mail after finishing You're a Mean One.

Does anyone know if you have to kill level-appropriate enemies outdoors to get a Winter Hat? Or can they be any level?

The Orgimmar PX-238 Winter Wondervolt for the Winter Wondervolt Gnome Disguise is not near the Orgrimmar Flight Master, but outside the gates, next to the Zeppelin tower.

Unlike what you might expect, presents cannot be opened on each Winter Veil. Once per character and done.

There's also New Year Celebrations! (Horde version New Year Celebrations!)
I picked it up outside that walls of Gadgetzan, Tanaris.
I didn't notice it when I was there earlier during the event, it may be that it only unlocks closer to New Years. 🤷‍♂️
