Easiest and Hardest Mythic+ Dungeons on Tyrannical Weeks in Shadowlands

This is the first Tyrannical week in Mythic+ Season 1 and we wanted to look at how hard the dungeons are on Tyrannical in Shadowlands. Many of these dungeons can be very deadly on this when compared to Fortified and we wanted to highlight the easiest dungeons to try to complete this week to get your Great Vault and End-of-Dungeon rewards!
Tyrannical Shadowlands Dungeons
With Tyrannical being an affix for this week in Mythic+ Season 1, I wanted to give my thoughts and opinions on the current state of
dungeons in Shadowlands. These are how I'd currently rate the dungeons for completing a +14/15 Keystone this week for loot or for the Great Vault (not necessarily in time).
Shadowlands Season 1 Guide
In general though
makes trash much easier, but bosses can take 2 - 4 minutes depending on the boss and your group's DPS. However, with the addition of the
affix, you should try to have a dungeon route that spawns
before as many bosses as possible (targeting the most difficult bosses) as the best way to kill a boss is to kill it before it does anything. The outgoing damage of Tyrannical can be an issue on certain bosses, turning DoT effects deadly and large burst damage into one-shots at a high enough key level.

Easiest Dungeons on Tyrannical
Mists of Tirna Scithe
Mists of Tirna Scithe is probably the easiest Shadowlands dungeon to time, but on Tyrannical the first boss can provide some resistance if your DPS isn't high enough. It's still overall one of the easiest dungeons to complete on a Tyrannical week.

Ingra Maloch is the first boss, and on
not only does
health scale, so does
. This means that both phases will take longer, greatly increasing the time it takes to kill this boss. As Ingra Maloch eventually puts up his
shield on a set timer, dealing pulsing AoE damage, there is a soft-DPS check in order to break
's Mind Control at 20%.
The other two bosses,
aren't significantly affected by
. They will take longer, which is more time for mistakes but the mechanics don't necessarily change or become one-shots.
Halls of Atonement
Halls of Atonement is the other easy Shadowlands dungeon to complete and time, especially with a Venthyr due to the Covenant Dungeon bonus providing a large portion of boss DPS.

The only boss that may give you trouble in Tyrannical Halls of Atonement is
, the second boss. As such, we would recommend saving
to kill him as quickly as possible, as the amount of damage this boss can put out is very high.
The remainder of the bosses don't scale significantly with Tyrannical. There are some particular notes:
With a Venthyr in the group, you can use the nearby
to do huge damage to the 1st and 3rd bosses.
Grande adjudicatrice Alize
was changed late in Beta and the Jars at the corners of the room now respawn, meaning this boss is no longer a hard DPS check. This boss is now basically a target dummy as long as you kick all the
Salve de puissance
normally isn't too bad except with this week's affix
. If you get hit by a Tornado during the
Rituel de malheur
soaks, it will likely knock you out of line of the soak dealing high AoE damage to the raid!
Decent Dungeons on Tyrannical
Theater of Pain
Theater of Pain has a relatively tight timer, but if you're going for completion, this is a decent dungeon. There are some DPS and Healing checks with the addition of
but with good play and/or gear, you can overcome them.

Dessia la Décapiteuse
on the Affront of Challengers will hit your Tank even harder on
, so we'd recommend killing

will also deal more damage to your Tank.
For a high healing encounter, that's
s need to be dispelled by your healer and deal very high damage.
That's not all as the
players who haven't picked up their Soul yet take massive DoT damage, so for DPS players its super important to grab your Soul quickly!
The last boss
Mordretha, l'impératrice immortelle
is a difficult one, especially if players are getting hit by mechanics. On a high
key, the avoidable mechanics

will basically one-shot any player hit. However, since they are avoidable, this boss isn't too bad with enough practice but since many mechanics often happen simultaneously or in quick succession, it does get a little hectic.
Relatively Hard Dungeons on Tyrannical
Spires of Ascension
Spires of Ascension is definitely a harder dungeon to do on Tyrannical than some of the other dungeons.

The first boss
has the ability
which is confusing how it works due to the tooltip. It deals 200% weapon damage to the Tank, and then an additional 200% weapon damage to anyone in an 8 yard cone. Therefore if the Tank stands still during the cleave instead of trying to dodge it, they will likely get 1-shot due to an instant 400% weapon damage hit, especially on
The second boss,
has a soft-enrage due to the increasing number of
s that the boss spawns which makes it harder and harder to not get hit. As the boss fight takes longer on
, this means more
will spawn and the bolts do more and more damage! But that's not all -- as the
bleed will hit players very very hard, forcing healers to focus their healing on them.
The third boss,
also has a hard hitting DoT
that will require focus from the healer. With this fight working in cycles due to his double damage phase
, this boss will also take longer.
The final boss,
has a higher healing check in the intermission with the
debuff. Missing a spear on
is sure to be deadly.
Plaguefall has a very lenient timer, but the dungeon itself can be pretty difficult. In general, having a Disease and Poison dispel will make this dungeon much easier.
Of particular note in
are the last two bosses.
will be a long encounter, that forces players to constantly move and reveal her adds to avoid taking extra damage. In addition, with

damage will quickly scale up to become a one-shot if players aren't fully topped off.
The other notable boss is
, which is a massive healer check due to the boss'
. This DoT does a lot of damage and will be slightly easier depending on the number of Disease dispels you have. In addition, the higher DPS that you have the more of these casts that you will skip!
De Other Side
De Other Side has a very tight timer and the dungeon itself has some very tough bosses.

is a boss that is a DPS check, and really the fight comes down to kill the boss before it can kill you. The
adds deal more damage the longer they're alive and the boss will shield more if they're alive during his

, as the "enrage" spells will likely do too much damage to heal through. Make sure to hit the boss with both the

does high damage when it hits you, so make sure to use a personal as well!

Hardest Dungeons on Tyrannical
Necrotic Wake is one of the hardest dungeons in Shadowlands at the moment, with some of the deadliest trash and the deadliest bosses. There are
that can be picked up around the instance that can be used on bosses to help you kill them, but even with them the bosses are some of the hardest in the game at the moment.
Necrotic Wake Guide
is probably the first boss that will give you trouble. This boss will constantly ramp it's passive AoE damage the longer goes on, making this fight a DPS check. As key levels continue to climb,
will make this boss become harder and harder as the fight takes longer and longer.
is one of the hardest boss in the game at the moment. Even after the recent nerfs to
, this boss and add will continue to hit tanks very hard. However, since
is on a strict timer for his damage phase,
will add more cycles to his encounter, making this fight take much much longer, which is something that you Tank may not actually have cooldowns for.
Nalthor le Lieur-de-Givre
is another boss which becomes much harder and deadlier as the boss fight takes longer and
makes that even worse. This is because at the start of the fight, you have a long period of time where all 3 players are on the platform. After this, there is a maximum of 2 DPS on the platform which means that your DPS on the boss is lower, meaning it takes longer to break the
, leading to much higher damage taken and possibly a wipe if the shield isn't broken fast enough.
Sanguine Depths probably has some of the hardest and deadliest boss in dungeons at the moment and all the bosses can be troublesome on

The first boss
Kryxis le Vorace
ability, and whenever you pop a
Essence de vie
it deals high party damage. On
weeks, it's important that all players run far away from

, to allow time between

soaks before they reach the boss.
The second boss,
is probably the hardest dungeon boss in its current state. If you have more than one melee DPS, this will make the boss harder. The main source of damage is
which deals very very high single target damage to a player and anyone around them every 0.75 seconds for 3 seconds. This damage is massive and it's increased further by
making this ability very deadly. That's not all though as whenever the add is alive, it deals pulsing AoE damage every second through
and sometimes, these abilities actually line up making this fight a very challenging healing encounter.

's main mechanic is the

is actually quite tame when compared to the rest of the bosses. All players will need to make sure that they're spreading for the
