This starts a chain quest that got me over 10K XP as a level 30 Hunter. Each segment was 2500 or 3000 XP. The hardest part of the chain was getting the Alterac Marble from the Yeti Cave at Darrow Hill in Hillsbrad.

The fastest way out of here after you collect the letter is to go to the shore at 52x 7Y (head East and stick to the north side) where there's a pathway up to Arathi Highlands. You'll have to go past about 5~ level 31 Dark Iron dwarves then you're home free.

Don't swim up the channel it's a dead end.

1) Walk down the bridge halfway
2) Jump into the water off the west side
3) Swim straight down; you should see broken bridge columns and a broken catapult. By those objects, there is a dead dwarf.
4) Swim to the dead dwarf and look on the ground by his hand for paper
5) Click on the paper to pick it up and open the quest
6) Hearth OR swim to the east and on the north bank you can walk out and up into Arathi
