I got this as a drop from a mob in Fenris Isle. Right-clicking I got a dialog saying this quest is not available to my race. I kept it for a few levels occasionally advertising it on /Trade in IF just for laughs.

I heard about this talking head drop today. Went to the keep type building and killed the whole thing.. no drop. Found out it's a low % drop off any of the critters out there.

Oh well.. may try some other time.

PS..im alliance and realize this is for horde quest but heard anyone could get it. Not sure if that has changed.

Since it's dropped in *Forsaken* lands, continued by *Forsaken* quest middle hands and ended by a *Forsaken* NPC, I daresay it is Forsaken Only. Or at least Horde Only.

This item is race specific apparently. I attempted to start the quest and recieved a "That quest is not available to your race" message

It is not specific to undead/forsaken, but is specific to Horde only.

I had to start Rot Hide Ichor to get this to drop.

You can loot this item even after finishing L'ichor de Poil-putride. It just takes a bit of time for it to drop due to RNG.

By the time i had this dropped i had like 3 full stacks of wool cloth...

I went from lvl 19 to 21 trying to get this head to drop. It never did. Excellent Wool farm though. Possible this Quest was quietly removed from Wrath Classic?

I was AoE farming the gnolls for a while and couldn't get the head to drop. I went to sepulcher and grabbed the quest L'ichor de Poil-putride and the head dropped on the first pull after.

They could have atleast upped the drop rate if they wanted to make this needed for a rune
