I believe it's a reward from the Royal Rescue quest in BRD. I'm not positive since I never actually got around to finishing the quest once I saw how bad the rewards were... Ergo my belief that this was one of them...

This ring OWNS. Too bad I didn't think much of it back then.. =S Owns for pvp. NEVAH sell +dmg done equip. I'm a priest and I really, really need this one now.. Guess I got to go to DM and get that one instead.

I think this ring gets overlooked because you can get it at such a low-level. Most Mages get this ring and discard it because they are still in their, "Int-rules all" phase. Let me tell you, +18dam and +7int on a ring is pretty darn nice - even well into level 60. Don't DE this ring!

Practically the same quest, kill Emperor without killing Princess, just starts differently.

This one's equivalent is Pierre chantante d'Ironforge
