SoM Launch
Arcanum inférieur de voracité - Lesser Arcanum of Voracity is a quest reward in the Burning Steppes, Libram de voracité, which is repeatable. Until Zul'Gurub is released, this will be the best enchant for rogues for the head and leg slot.

Zul'gurub

Caresse de la Mort - Death's Embrace is a Quest reward, La caresse de la mort, which can be completed with Zanza le Sans-Repos on top of the pyramid in Zul'Gurub. While the 1% Dodge is mostly useless for a PvE Raiding Rogue, the 28 Extra Attack Power is pretty good and much better than the agility Arcanum inférieur de voracité.

Shoulder Enchants for Rogues

SoM Launch
Mantelet de l'Aube chromatique - Chromatic Mantle of the Dawn requires the Player to be Exalted with Aube d'argent. Once the Player reaches Exalted and completes Le mantelet de l'Aube chromatique, the Argent Dawn Quartermaster will have more of these for sale, at a hefty price of 36 Gold. You won't be able to gain a damage-enhancing shoulder enchant until the Zul'Gurub raid releases.

Zul'gurub

Cachet de puissance zandalar - Once you reach Exalted with the Tribu Zandalar, you will be able to turn in 15 Marque d'honneur zandalar for the Zandalar Signet of Might. The 30 Attack Power this offers is a massive improvement upon the Aube d'argent Resistance Shoulder Enchants because it actually adds a considerable amount to your damage output instead of adding nothing to your damage output.

Naxxramas

Pouvoir du Fléau - One of the Enchants that drop off of Saphiron in Naxxramas, this is an upgraded Cachet de puissance zandalar, trading in 4 Attack Power for a whole 1% Crit Chance, which is pretty massive. While this is much more difficult to get than Zandalar Signet of Might, it is unfortunately something multiple Classes will want as their best in slot shoulder enchant. Warrior, Hunter, and Voleur all want this, even the occasional Feral Druid, Retribution Paladin, or Ehancement Shaman will be looking for this as well! So good luck making it all the way to Sapphiron, and two, actually winning the roll!

Cloak Enchants for Rogues

SoM Launch
Ench. de cape (Agilité inférieure) - Lesser Agility is basically the best enchant for Cloaks for the entirety of Classic. Thankfully, it isn't very expensive at all, which is pretty reasonable when you take into consideration how minor of an effect it has on Damage output for the Rogue.

Ahn'Qiraj

Enchantement de cape (Camouflage) - This enchant increases your effective stealth level by 1 - exactly 1/3 of the value of 5 ranks of Maître des illusions offers, making it pretty valuable for PvP Rogues.

Chest Enchants for Rogues

SoM Launch
Ench. de plastron (Caract. supérieures) -Similarly to Lesser Agility on Cloak, Greater Stats on Chest is essentially the best Raiding Enchant for the entirety of Classic. +4 to All Stats will give a total of 8 Attack power, as well as a fraction of Crit Chance.

Ench. de plastron (Vie majeure) - Early on you might not have the gold for greater stats or you might have a piece of gear that you'll replace quickly, major health is a cheap alternative that's quite good in its own right.

Bracer Enchants for Rogues

SoM Launch
Ench. de bracelets (Force excellente) - Rogues will want Superior Strength as the best bracer enchant.

Ench. de bracelets (Endurance excellente) - Just like Major Health to Chest, Superior Stamina to Bracers is the go-to Enchant for PvP Rogues. 9 Stamina is worth 90 Health, almost as powerful of an Enchant as the Chest!

Gloves Enchants for Rogues

SoM Launch
Ench. de gants (Agilité supérieure) - This is the best choice for a PvE Raiding Rogue, as it's the only real option for boosting a Rogue's Damage. Thankfully, a massive upgrade to this Enchant comes with Ahn'Qiraj, in Phase 5. Until then, this is all you get.

Ench. de gants (Equitation) - Riding Skill is a great Enchant to carry on an extra pair of gloves in your bag, right next to your Carotte et bâton and Boots with Eperons en mithril. This is highly recommended when a player is out in the world, seeking Mining or Herbalism nodes to farm from, regardless of Class. If the Riding Skill Enchant is too expensive, consider Ench. de gants (Dépeçage), Ench. de gants (Minage avancé), or Ench. de gants (Herboristerie avancée) as an inexpensive option, allowing Players to do Gathering in zones earlier than their level would allow.

Ahn'Qiraj

Enchantement de gants (Agilité excellente) - This Enchant is a massive upgrade over Ench. de gants (Agilité supérieure), more than doubling the Agility offered! Unfortunately this is a somewhat pricey Enchant and if you don't have the Gold to spare, you can always keep the Greater Agility Enchant until you make the Gold.

Boots Enchants for Rogues

SoM Launch
Ench. de bottes (Vitesse mineure) - For both PvE and PvP, move speed is king. You absolutely have to take Minor Speed on Boots, if you are a Rogue. Because Rogues are a Melee Class, they will spend most of their time on their feet, running after Enemy Targets to hit them! Bonus move speed will reduce the time you spend moving between targets and increase the time you get to spend actually attacking a dealing damage to your enemies.

Eperons en mithril - Mithril Spurs are great to put on a pair of Boots in the inventory, when a Player is out in the World doing Gathering Professions. For Rogues, I would recommend you put Mithril Spurs on your Bottes de marche silencieuse, an item you should be carrying in your inventory anyway, in a situation where you come across a Druid or Enemy Voleur and see them Stealth toward you.

Weapon Enchants for Rogues

SoM Launch
Ench. d'arme (Croisé) - Crusader is hands down the best Enchant for a Combat Rogue Main Hand. The Buff gained is Force sacrée, which can stack twice, if both the Main Hand and Off Hand trigger the Buff. It is also important to understand this proc chance can trigger off of Spécialisation Epée extra Melee swings! This also applies to Horde Rogues, Raiding with a Shaman using Totem Furie-des-vents.

Ench. d'arme (Agilité) - In most cases the agility enchant in the off hand will offer a greater increase to damage dealt than a second crusader enchant. Unlike the mainhand, you will not be gaining a bunch of extra chances to trigger an off hand Ench. d'arme (Croisé) via extra attacks or abilities, so the buff uptime from an offhand Ench. d'arme (Croisé) is much lower than in the main hand, leaving room for the agility enchant to be superior.

Ench. d'arme (Arme flamboyante) - Fiery Weapon is included in this list because it is a very inexpensive Enchant and great for a Leveling Rogue. If a Rogue is Leveling at a slower pace than the top Guilds on their server, they can reliably get this Enchant around the time they acquire Lame de Thrash, increasing the Rogue's Leveling time by a noticeable amount!

Nice guide, very easy to follow. Only suggestion would be to consider including the phases in which you can get each enchant. Great overall information. Thanks!

There actually IS an agility enchant for bracers Ench. de bracelets (Agilité mineure). It's only +1 agility and probably not as useful endgame as the +strength, but still available for lower levels.

Commentaire de Fadedtimes

the gloves section is repeated

missing +15 agi for weapon enchant

Commentaire de lianzhu

about the section:

Enchant Weapon - Fiery Weapon

the sentence:

get this Enchant around the time they acquire Thrash Blade Thrash Blade, increasing the Rogue's Leveling time by a noticeable amount!

the enchant should reduce the leveling time in stead of increasing. So i suggest to change "increasing" to "decreasing"
