Hey guys,
I have been PvPing and doing arenas for a while now in seasons 6 and what ive noticed is that compared to other range classes got VERY low survivabilty.
Mages got there slows and blink and a fairly low cooldown, 12 seconds ish, whilst hunters have Disengage, 30 second cooldown, witch is way to long for probably the only skill u can use to get away from melee range, i know u can lay down traps and stuff but 1 trap has a 30 second cooldown aswell.
so i dont understand at all why the hell blizzard nerfed cd on disengage from 25 to 30 seconds.
if anyone has tips or ideas, or comments pls post.

Your best bet in 2v2 survivability (and burst) is going to be BM. I, being an avid hater of BM since Season 2, decided to give it a try when my hunter friend reported doing very well in 3v3s with it. So respecced into BM and into marks up to and including 3/5 efficiency and aimed shot.
Heres how it goes down for me (with holy pally), i cant be stunned or controlled in any way. I essentially just explode on the softest class that can be effectively blown up on. Granted, it takes more than 1 cooldown of Bestial Wrath and often times i have to use my pet stun to keep my pally alive. I started using a Silithid, and at lvl 75, he got me to about 1300 rating. After 3 days of searching (of no more than 2 laps per zone a day) i found Gondria, the spirit beast of Zul'drak. Her being 78 has gotten me to 1550 as of today, and we havent really peaked yet. When she reaches 80 and gets her last talent (charge) and a new rank of Spirit Strike that does twice as much damage, i will move somewhere close to 2k, i imagine. Ive been Challenger for Seasons 2, 4 and 5 and a Rival for season 3 (Patch 3.0.0, my partner never showed up :[ ) and i expect 2k to right around the range of 1700 to 1800 for seasons 1-5.
TL:DR version
BM rocks 2v2s and 3v3s, with a loss of control, you gain burst and "god-mode"
