I was gonna say pun intended but that horse didn't last long so it wasn't funny :(
:( I liked that horse.
Also... (actual spoiler)
Technically, the death of his wife/baby but not really
his
baby should have put him off his high horse. Yup I've been wikia-ing the Walking Dead.
Edit:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1172571/
Not a zombie movie in the classic sense, but has a similar feel. In this movie, ONLY the children are affected, and they get it in their head that they need to kill all the adults in horrible and gruesome ways.
I've watched that. :/ I didn't like it, but then I hate gross/gorey type films.

Dawn of the Dead had the little girl zombie...or at least, the remake did. Biggest reason why Walking Dead doesn't have kid zombies is because of the types that exist; the roamers and the solitary ones; more then likely some of the big cities have a large number of child zombies, but they wouldn't really be able to keep up with the other roamers.
And the baby demons from Silent Hill are freaky as hell.
I would love it if Ricks son became a zombie, and bring Rick down from his high horse.
Why wouldn't they be able to keep up with the roamers, they're not fast. Would a child zombie just be weaker for no reason?
More then likely; look at most of the roamers we see. And in the most recent comics, something does happen to Carl.......

I do know that my favorite zombie-related thing is either Shaun of the Dead or Zombieland...I think I like zombie comedies because straight zombie movies are done so often. Although there are good serious ones, like 28 Days Later.

Baby necromorphs from Dead Space...which leads one to ask why there were so many babies on a scienctific spaceship...It's implied that they grow clones to replace limbs and organs, and the baby forms of those clones are what became the Lurkers.

Ooh, that actually does make sense...imma go play Dead Space again now. That was a great game. Haven't tried the sequel yet, though.

Mini necro
I just picked up the new vollume of the walking dead and DAAAAMN that was something to read. Once again Robert Kirkman shows that he has two things that few other comic writers have these days. Balls.
the scene where Carl catches a bullet to the face and the zombies swarm through the walls I was all set to say "ok they lose another home and to make it more emotional Rick loses another limb/family member /yawn" but then the writing once again surprised me. Normally in this series when people go up against the odds, they lose, but this chapter of the story actualy ended in a somewhat optimistic way, not only for the individual characters but for the overall tone of the series.
Anybody who likes good zombie literature needs to go pick up this, as well as volumes 1-13 NOW

Meh, wasn't a fan of that series for the Zombies; the first one was good, the second one wasn't bad, but the third and fourth were garbage; liked the most recent one though, with Machine Man and Howard the Duck.

quite.
I honestly hate kids in movies and shows, and then yet again when the OTHER kid screws it up... I felt no pity at all.

Ill be honest I have been majorly underwhelmed by the actor that plays Carl. Last year I would have let it slide but Game of Thrones showed us that kids can be damn good actors too.
Although to be fair they kind of skipped his one big scene up untill this point from the comics, so I suppose you could blame the writers for that...

Is it kidnapping if they're undead?

I was reading The Walking Dead and I realized there are no child zombies. In no books or movies I've seen have there been any child/teen zombies. In one movie there was a baby being born as a zombie, but that's it. Is it simply because no one cares to make child zombies or is there a reason there are none? (Or do I just keep missing them cause I'm blind.)
In the Walking Dead, first episode, like 3 minutes in shows a little girl zombie. There is a little girl zombie in the backwards Dead Island trailer. I think kid zombies aren't used much because they are less intimidating. Most zombies look like Mike Tyson if he soaked up a lot of water from floating in a pond... a pond of blood.
