Well....did not see that coming....

Issue 90: Rick and Andrea.....

/Sigh

As much as I like them as a couple, this probably means shes gonna die a grizzley death before long :(

She is my favorite charater atm, I wonder if its gonna come out what happened with Carl and Ben.

So caught up again and really can't wait for Shane to get his comeuppance....

I know I'm behind, but I've been recording the episodes to watch them in chunks.

Anyway.

While it was despicable, I can think of several reason why Shane /had/ to do what he did, the four biggest ones being:

1.) Otis a relative stranger, and while that's not a very good excuse, it means he can keep himself alive because (Next bullet.)

2.) Otis a liability at the moment. They're both hurt, I know, but Otis is hurt worse, and he weighs considerably more, meaning that he'll end up moving slower with that injury, and if he does, he slows them both down, and they'll both get eaten.

3.) He has to get back with the supplies to save Rick's son.

4.) If it wasn't for Otis, he wouldn't have had to have been there anyway.

Still waiting for Shane to get what is coming to him though.

Let me start this story off by saying I'm not a small (around 6ft and about 195lbs), or normally timid... Man-child (I'm legally an adult, but still feel like a kid). Zombies scare me... A lot... But for some reason, I decided to watch 3 episodes of Walking Dead, drink a bunch of caffeine and then go to sleep, so I probably wasn't in the right state of mind when this happened.

~3:30am.

I hear wheezing, irritated breathing, coming from the basement outside my room, I thought I was imagining it at first, but after a bit, I realized it was definitely there, So I lay still listening. After a while I hear some things in the basement get knocked over and what sounds like something moving up the stairs. So I get up silently, and retrieve the knife I keep on the shelf, it has a 4 inch long blade and a 4 1/2 inch long handle and a dull black finish over the entire thing so it doesn't reflect light. I open it silently, and lay it on the floor as I crouch down to pull my rifle out from under my bed.

I stare at the doorway as I load a single round into the Mosin Nagant rifle that my grandpa gave me, working the bolt action as silently as I can, and lay it on the dresser next to the door, so that if I need to, I can grab it and bring it to bear with a fluid motion. I'm confident that even if I don't hit the thing in the head, the 7.62 round is going to tear it's torso apart, but it's loud and a last resort. After doing this, I pick the knife up off the ground and creep into the basement, walking on the balls of my feet, so I can move as quietly as possible.

After scanning the basement for a while I decide nothing is there, so I move to the stairs. After a quick scan of the staircase, I can tell that it is empty and I move up it towards the living room. When I'm almost to the top of the stairs, I can hear the breathing again, but it's much closer, on the other side of the wall, in fact. All I'd need to do is come around the wall and I'd be face-to-face with whatever it is.

I sat there, thinking about what I needed to do, for what seemed like ages, but was most likely just a few seconds. Tense, I was absolutely still, and could feel the vessels behind my jaw and in my neck throbbing, my teeth tingled from the spike in adrenaline and blood pressure, I could almost hear drums as I psyched myself up and I suddenly had tunnel vision. Every muscle in my back, legs and upper body tightened as I prepared to move. I put my left hand on the wall, my fingers gripping the edge so that I could use them to pull myself, but they weren't entirely visible and would not give me away.

Deciding I was ready, I called on every ounce of bottled up anger and irritation from the last few weeks as I exploded into motion, coming around the wall silently hoping to dispatch the thing without a sound or struggle. I planted my foot next to the coffee table that wasn't supposed to be there, so that with my leg against it, I could use it as leverage to put more power into my thrust, hoping to catch the thing under the jaw making it easy to drive the blade into it's brain.

But I hit air, confused, I looked around and saw nothing... But a ^&*!ing cat hacking up a god damned %^&*ing hairball.

*sigh*

It's 5:30am as I write this, and the thing I forgot, in my exhausted, paranoid state of mind was that the cat in question is a clutz, and will sit for a long time, coughing and wheezing before actually getting anything up, so I jumped to the conclusion that it must be a zombie.

Grr.

My grammar is all messed up, I changed tenses mid way through, but I'm not getting graded on this so it's not really important to me.

Well since they don't want to kill him off, and are trying to redeem the f**khole, have to do something....

Shane gets worse every episode. He needs to just die already,Agreed.
Also, The Walking Dead really could do with more zombies and less talking.Triple agreed.

Hopefully the 'people' in the barn will deliver both next time, and maybe Andrea will run out of ammo in the middle of it and get a good kick in wherever it hurts most.

I know it's not the season finale, but I can't be sure if it's split into two or if that was all lies.

It may get split in two, as a lot of shows do the mid-season season finale then pick it up again after Christmas; but there are 13 episodes for this season.

I just caught up to the current point of the comics in TWD. I read the whole series in about a 3 days, it was *!@#ing awesome. So many people die though O.O

Now that things have settled down Im starting to wonder who is next...

I picture Abraham going out in a blaze of glory eventualy. As to whose next, I hate to say it but Glenn or somone he loves is probably up next on the chopping block. Hes the only one who hasnt had anything horrible happen to him yet.

Im wondering who this watcher at the end issue #91 is, perhaps the mysterious Davidson?

THAT was one hell of a mid-season finale, I was pretty suprised by the end.

I guess Carl dosnt get his puppy love :(
