Wrath Rep gains at 85

How does rep work from the wrath factions work with a 80-85 toon?

I mean, can I go back and solo run UK norm or one of the other 80 norm dungeons and gain rep for KotEB, wyrmrest, Kirin Tor?
Or do I need to run hc versions of wrath dungeons (both while wearing the tabard of course.)

Or does wearing the tabard in normal/hc cata dungeons while leveling give wrath faction rep?

Im only intrested as Id like to complete some of them on my original hunter that I have started to play again while waiting for my my day to day guild's raid times.

Im only intrested simply for some of the rep for items (such as the chopper pattern for enginering/mounts)But dont want to have to spend my time running old HCs and dailys when I could be gearing up said hunter in cata dungeons.

Forgot CoS and HoL as well for the 80's. You can also do the dailies; the AT gives rep for all four of the Valiance/Warsong reps, and Argent Crusade or Ebon Blade(if your a DK).

No, did BrC last night in my argent tabard and didnt gain any rep, and the tooltip does suggest that it wont work in cata hcs either. So im guessing that to grind it out Im going to have to have to go back and solo the old 80 dungeons
(looking forward to seeing how many of them I am able to solo at 85, most should be easy but Iam curious if some like Oc and ToC are possable to solo)

I had forgotten about the AT, But not looking forward to doing that again. Did it on my main for the mounts and was looking foward not having to every do that again!
Its not so much the dailys, it the whole stupid "do this for five days then do this for another 5 days..." before the rest of the dailys open up.

I can confirm they do not work in Cata dungeons.

Also, even at level 82 with 60k+ health, don't try to get "Watch him die" without telling your PuG. Damn, those bugs hit hard.

I still feel jiped thaey didn't update the tabards.

Ah yes, rep badges. Id had forgotten about these, probably because when they came out during wrath they seemed so expensive for what they were and so ignored them.

But if they are only 16Jp each, well thats a nice big chunk of rep for very few JPs.
Ive have been wondering on what to spend excess JPs on now that there is no point in buynig the epic gems in dalaran.
