First off, I have renamed the title of this post. Lets try not to use words like "scam" from here on in. With the new User of the Month give away, the Moderators and the Staff are keeping a close eye on users and reputation. If you think someone is trying to game the system, you can voice those concerns privately at .

Now, as for the problem you describe, this is obviously a bug. We will look at it over the weekend, and correct it, and then reverse any gains that came from it.

I went ahead and performed a test of this issue as you've described and I can say for certain it's a bug on our end and no one is intentionally doing anything.

The Administration has been made aware and the issue should be resolved as soon as possible.
