Wowhead Client

I'm having some issues with the wowhead client. I downloaded it, extracted it to my desktop, and whenever I open it I get this and then after about 10s this. Did I do something wrong. Any advice?

Sometimes the Wowhead Client can't connect, not sure what the exact cause is, but it's only temporary usually, so just try again in 30 minutes or so.

If it persists than it's probably something else, in which case I can't give any advice.

It is possible that the receiving server was down for service. If it continues, check your firewall settings.

So I have been trying to install this wowhead client but I have no luck. I am a novice at this kind of stuff but I thought is was pretty straight forward. I keep getting this error "a connection attempt failed because the connected party did" and I can't read the rest. So now I'm wondering if anyone else has been having this issue?

It may be likely that a firewall is blocking it.

Well I tried it with my firewall off, but still same issue and error. It syas it's updating but it never even let me put in my info for WOW. Almost like it has been installed but missing info?

Here is the steps I have taken:

Clicked on the windows download
selected save, "saved the file in the addons folder for WOW"
extracted files and clicked on the wow client.exe
open the client and starts update download, finishes almost imediately.
then it stalls and gives the error listed above
I select retry and then windows closes the program and wants to send the error to Microsoft.
