Patch 7.1 has caused Wowhead Looter's Location Tooltip and NPC ID Tooltip to be reset to the center of the screen and not moveable.
The addon appears to otherwise work correctly when the Load Out of Date Addons feature is enabled.
The two tooltips overlap, so they are a bit difficult to read.
No combination of click drag, shift-click, control-click, or alt-click seems to work to move either Tooltip.
I'm encountering this problem too. What's the timetable on getting this fixed?

Hi, so I was wondering why the client is not able to log me so I can upload the data?
I have the right password and username and it just keeps sending me back to the "Authentication Failed. Make sure you entered a valid WoWHead username/password combination in the Options screen."
Any help as I would love to upload my data!

Two issues that might be related to the latest updates.
Looter's character listing box is blank though it still uploads about 80K of data anyways when I hit send.
I am questing in both old and new zones.
Uploads seem to be registering on the site as completed but data is not being updated on any of my characters.
When using Vanguard of the Silver Hand I get an error message about incompatibility with the UI when I select a world quest to complete
If I ignore it and don't disable Looter the quest selection crashes the map and quest log interface and the quest disappears from the map but doesn't actually get processed. A UI reboot brings it back to the map.

So I changed my password to my Wowhead account and it still won't recognize my log -in. The addon is also crashing constantly and I am having trouble with framerates (although I don't know if that is what is causing it).
I am only questing in old zones (<60).
Also, I forgot to mention this, but my WoW files are on an external harddrive I can't remember whether I installed Wowhead on the internal drive of my Mac (although I am running Windows 10 for both the game and the addon.

I've had the same issue other users are reporting about being unable to move the NPC ID tooltip. I've updated the Wowhead Looter addon just today, but the issue remains unresolved. Please fix this soon because I use the addon for determining the exact ID of the NPC/object that I am screen-shotting.

Same issues with the movable tooltip as well but in addition no coordinates show up on the map window.

I'm on Windows 7 64-bit, and the Wowhead Client gives me the message, "Could not update the client. Please try again later." every time I start it up, and then closes.

New Windows 10 computer, I tried to download the Wowhead client. The download file is labeled "$". I tried renaming to Wowhead_Client.exe but it is unrecognizable as an executable by windows.

When I try to run the Wowhead client, I get the small wowhead client dialog box that says "An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by" with a retry button and a cancel button. Hitting retry leads to a Win10 dialog that the program stopped working correctly with only a Close program button.
I tried to download the client again, but the file downloads with the name "$" and cannot be executed by Win10.

It is downloading only a $ File. Workaround for all users: rename and add .zip . That works

Hi.
The wowhead tooltips don't work anymore on our phpbb (3.1) forum.
We are using the GameToolTips extension. I cleared the different caches, deactivated and reactivated the extension, checked the log files on the server. Nothing special.
I then noticed the wowhead tooltips demo page doens't work neither anymore :

Could you please let me know when I will be fixed ?

Same problem here, except that I'm on a new Windows 10 computer. Diligently uploaded from my old one, but now the client just gives me said error message. Tried to re-download (I get a .zip file) and reinstall, didn't work.

i am also getting this unmovable bug for me it hasn't reset to the middle and unmovable but stayed where it was and became unmovable there.

I'm getting an issue where, when viewing the appearance tab, the game freezes for a split second every few seconds. And when it happens, if I'm on a page that doesn't display any collected appearances, it skips back to the farthest page that does.

currently having an issue with the looter addon, the little text box for the tooltip id stays anchored to the center of my screen and i cant move it, i used to be able to but i cant find anything in the toggle settings to make it moveable only to turn it on / off

off to the side where I'd put it before until all the servers crashed last night, but now it has inexplicably relocated to the middle of the screen, from which it cannot be moved. Please fix this; it's rather annoying.

Have a set of issues with addon + app.
App:
1) For all "Shared Data Cache" items it says 100% under "Uploaded" except "Items" and "ADB". For those 2 it says 26% and 12% respectively and refuses to upload more (if I click upload it says no data to upload).
2) Under Account-Specific Data it doesn't have anything. Just blank. In options "Upload character data" is checked, and path to Live is correct. Tried running with admin privileges - nothing changed.
Add-on:
1) In contradiction to the guide here it has no "Collect" button.
2) Apparently it doesn't really do anything in "collecting" despite being turned on.
Obviously, character profile on wowhead doesn't fully update, and I have a lot of false "Missing" from Completion feature.
Examples I can think of: RBG titles (up to Grand Marshal) are not getting marked as obtained, neither do related achievements.
