Would this build work for PvP(2/14/45) using icey veins?

i was wondering if this is a vaible PvP build, i am kinda reallying on icy veins to speed up pyro for first strike but keep advantages of deep ice such as the survivability

Wouldn't that make ffireball obsolete? casting times real slow without it so tyhen i would never use fireball and so wasting 5 points? i was thinking frost nova, icey veins (probably in a cast sequence), pyroblast otr fireball depending on time, with increased crit to proc ignite :P. But then also being able to function more or less as a deep ice mage for the rest of the time

or by loosing arcane subtlety and and one in flame throwing (because range isn't going to be hugely important in the fire aspect if i want shatter to come in), also now has frostbite rank 3

Oooooh and you could double up your nova poss with the elemental, and you don't have the down time of the PoM pyro, or have i got this completely wrong :s
