Worst performance you've ever seen in a Heroic

I'd been tanking on my druid for guildies for a few hours. We're on Vent, got a hunter and rogue on CC assignments so I don't need to bother marking - they're used to me and don't need me to explain what I want CC'd (if anything).
We were chaining up heroics to try and get VP/JP/gear for our druid healer and our rogue, but they're not exactly struggling with the smooth, fast-paced runs, even though my druid isn't the most amazingly geared tank ever. One of our guildies has to drop out when our druid only needs about 30 JP for an upgrade, so (against my better judgement) I re-queue and resign myself to a pug DPS.
We get a DK. Now, I don't have anything against DKs in general,
but
I always seem to get the retards :( We also get GB hc; which again I don't have any problems with, but I seem to have bad luck in there with pugs.
So we say hi, carry on chatting on Vent and start pulling. Everything's going fine until we get to Umbriss. The DK DGs the Malignant Trogg onto the boss and kills it. We make it through (just) to the second round of troggs, where he does the same thing again and wipes us. I just tell him to ignore the Malignant Trogg this time, the hunter will deal with it. We kill the boss.
We make it to Throngus. He starts off by standing in
everything
, with our healer just about managing to keep him up (I wouldn't have bothered if I'd been healing)...and then he falls off the path and into the lava. I didn't even know that was possible, but he did it. We kill the boss while he runs in...and facepulls a pack of mobs (one of the packs at the end of the 'path' by the bridges that no one ever bothers killing). We just continued clearing and he eventually caught up.
He then proceeds to rant about how, if I wasn't such an idiot tank, he wouldn't have died. 0.o Yeah ok, I can see how all your deaths are my fault...owait. Anyway, we mostly ignored him and carried on.
Someone asked me to pull Drahga, so I did. The DK dies from stupidity and gets a CR from our healer - who said it was a reflex and he wouldn't have bothered if he'd actually registered who'd died. He died again and starts on again about how it's my fault for being an idiot tank. Righto. He gets a res and drops group. Good.
We ended up with a replacement mage who flat-out refused to help on adds during Erudax. Our rogue is in mostly ilvl 333 gear so we needed everyone on them, even I was helping out. He wiped us three times before we votekicked him and picked up a fury warrior who was perfectly capable of slowing both adds and killing one himself. Nice to know there are some competent people left in LFD.

I had a mid-360's ilvl geared Warlock pull 4k throughout the entire dungeon once.

I was grouped with a tank who tanked
Commander Springvale
in such a way that it required 16,700 HPS to heal through. The only fight I've ever come close to that number was 10 man
Chimaeron
. Not fun.

Vortex pinnacle:
First i get a holy paladin not using beacon of light, healing mainly with flash of lightl and obviously going oom. Still people die extremly often and tank (me) has to chain cooldowns and keep asking the healer to refresh beacon. After through critic he claims its his brother char and he learns holy paladin healing. (translation=ebay)
We kick him and a priest comes, hardly even heals and always oom. I check his healing breakdown and he heals 99% of time with greater heal. I check his gear and he has pure haste gems everywhere.
I check his talents and guess what, he was shadow specced.
grim batol: Drahga.
Retri paladin doing 4k dps chased by the add runs into tank and i think a healer effectively blowing them up.
I ran out of spots in ignore today.

In WotLK, at least paladins actually had to be concerned with refreshing beacon with its somewhat short duration. I love the "my brother" excuse, as popular as it is it's so stupid I still think it's funny.
I once had an arcane mage in full T6 with the "Hand of A'dal" title with stam gems in the blue sockets who spammed nothing but Frostbolt and Blizzard in normal Old Kingdom. It was my first obvious encounter with an ebayer >.>

Reminds me of the hunter I saw once. Gemmed for strength, had a strength two hander and went around meleeing. I think this was a Stonecore.

I'd almost get my hunter a Strength set just to see how people will respond.

A nearly fully t11hc raid geared arcane mage demanding that he had the right to go afk autofollowing healer until the final boss in lost city of the tol´vir. A player of his level and skill did not have to bother with such petty things as 5man heroics, and he was just there for the vp anyway. He was busy with a guild meeting and could throw some arcane blasts now and then but we had no right to demand more or even that. We should be grateful that he was in our pug, and we should be grateful for the opportunity to see his awesome performance on the last boss. (dps on that fight was very high, i have to admit)
The saddest thing was that the rest of the pug let him do that.

lvl 85, heroic first time tanking a heroic in cata on my pally come in AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND a rogue in spirit gear who is pulling 1.4k dps..............

sorry for double post just didnt see this post before :/
Went to LFD Stonecore and right off the bat healer said 'he would not heal tank if he proceeded to pull in that gear'. Tank immediately started accusing healer noob and whatnot spiced with swearing. I inspected the pally tank and he had a mix of DPS and some tank gear, no enchants nor gems and
a lvl 80 pvp shield.
If that wasn't enough, he had all points in prot tree, refused to use CC and wasn't able to hold aggro at all. It was the first time I've seen tank getting kicked out of group :)
ive been kicked out of a ZA as a tank
becuase i carried the group thru everything without a wipe being the last alive almost on every boss, getting my shoulders ninjad on Hex Lord which never dropped again and they finaly kick me after all that on last boss because i didnt realise fast enough that you have to taunt the Lynx form that it wont transfer aggro from just DPS, well because it was my first time ever seeing Lynx as a tank and as a healer i never saw what the tank did on Lynx, they didnt even give me a second chance, just kicked... OH and i had to run an extra Zeroic that night so i could get my trinket cause of those ass holes

This is sadly how most groups roll. If you mess up once, it's "lol..." /kick
I find it insanely tiring. I never agree to them the first time, but try to explain it instead... that is, if the rest of the group doesn't agree with it. I have had issues with my own guildmates doing it, and it really grieves me. People makes the false assumption that "we are late into this expansion, you should know the tactics by now", but it doesn't work that way. Some might have started now, and have been slow to get to 85. Some might not have picked up cata until just recently. Or people might be learning completely new roles. This is especially true for tanks - How to do train as a tank? I leveled my druid as resto, and back then, it was a pain. When I finally got to max level, and having healed a few months, I decided to try out tanking. How do I learn? Read, read, and read some more. After that, it's pure trail and error. A lot of groups had to put up with me being horrible before I managed to catch on to the basics of it, and this is
normals
, in
wrath of the lich king
. I couldn't hold threat against anything, and I dropped like a stone, forgetting CDs and whatnot. People expect you pratise before subjecting others to your poor skills, but how do you train as a tank? You don't. It's all or nothing, and worse still, you have to relearn tanking with every new dungeon you enter. Hell, even seperate pulls are different sometimes, and your tanking style changes depending on that.
People have no patience. But with that said, I have to say that people who fail a skill-check, and later screams and yells at the group who complains about it, are WORSE. If you suck at what you do, accept your groups critisism, and improve. Retaliating makes you come off as an ignorant fool.
This is quite a coincidence, because just earlier today, I was healing a Warrior, who was so "1337" that he could chain-pull everything in Grim Batol. Sadly, the caster mobs didn't feel like meleeing him, so they kept back, and killed me, the healer. Wipe. Tank instantly complains about me being bad. He continues to pull, and do stupid $%^& in general, and finally we get to Dragha, through much pain and suffering on the Forgemaster, and we litterally hit a brick wall. The tank died 3 times from the invocations, and insisted I was the one being horrible at healing. That I didn't keep his health high enough, and didn't use my cooldowns wisely. 1 other guy agreed, and the rest were from my guild - Stalemate. We couldn't kick him, because we needed the consent from the last dps, and he couldn't kick me. Explaining tactics were no help. He was of the idea that it was up to the dps to kill it, and apparently thought it was best to remain completly still if you got targeted... We tried 4 times more, for a total of 7 times, before the Enhancement Shaman decided enough was enough, and let the tank die alone, before pulling the boss with a taunt. He kept it up, and healed himself as much as possible, and through a sheer miracle, and my ridiculously overgeared Resto Druid, we managed to kill it. We easily got the last boss (Doesn't require anything but tanking from the tank), and actually managed to finish the dungeon with this guy, but god... That has got to be one of the worst instances I have run lately. Stupid Blizzard and their kick-rules >_>

Lucky bastard. If this is the worst you have seen...? Wow! I envy you.

I had a stam stacking DW blood DK tank in my random heroic Vortex Pinnacle yesterday. Everyone (but me) was oohing and ahhing at his 203k HP (lol 15% LFM buff). He died twice on trash because he and our healer were terrible. 203k HP and he was only pulling ~16k tps.
Question: I know that some people put +10 stat gems in their relic because they think prismatic slot = prismatic gem, but why have I seen some people with both a +10 stats gem in their relic
and
a solid color gem in their belt buckle which is also a prismatic slot?

The belt buckle socket doesn't count for socket bonus. You can have any color there and still get the socket bonus.

You can only have one +10 gem at once

You're missing the point of the question. People put a prismatic gem in their relic because they think that's the only gem that can go in there. Why else would you use a +10 stats instead of +40 int/agil/str? But the belt buckle slot is also prismatic.

Because when they try to they get an error message

Right, so they try putting a 40 int/agi/str in, are surprised/delighted to find it fits, and then they go back to the other prismatic slot and replace the 10 all stat one.
