I was farming H OK for my tanking bracers, at 20 runs, when the DK pulling 600 DPS with 71 points in blood and DWing a green 76 item and a blue level 42 item in half green questgear and half blue tank gear (Some from leveling, like tundra pauldrons) who I told him could not roll on it, needs them.
It took me 7 more runs...
Bastard.
In situations like that set make sure you have lead and set to ML

Ran no drake Sarth last week for emblems. Warlock RL had announced at the beginning that the Illustration is called, but all other loot is free roll. Sarth drops nice and smooth. But then of course our ninja RL takes *everything* and drops group.
His gear was crap and his dps was sad, so he did need a fair amount of upgrades, but lol@ ever trying to get a group again.

So,i joined a group for direbrew.I had told the gm i didn't have summ(then i told him i had the remote+5k dps) and i get invite. On the 4rth and last kill kodo drops. We all needed (ofc) and i won it.GM and his mate left.I hearthed to dalaran without leaving group. After around 30 secs (yes, meh pc is veeeeeeeeeeery slow) i see the chat.A was nerdraging at me and called me a ninja and that i didn't have the right to need as i didn't summ. He even procided nerdraging on /2.Ofc,when i explained the situation everybody laughed at him.
.....i don't like making people sad though:(

This story isn't sad or anything because no one really lost anything, though it was pretty funny. When running WC on my pally alt a green BoE mail legs dropped and the priest needed them. Here's basically what everyone said-
"Dude, you didn't need those"
"Yes i did"
"It's mail, you can't wear mail"
"I needed the money"
........................................
Needless to say, we took a break from the instance to explain the finer points of rolling. But then later, me and him got separated from the group (cannot remember how this happened). I was tanking as a prot pally and he was healing so we shouldn't of had any trouble dealing with the pats as we made our way back. But, as i was tanking the priest decided he didn't need to heal anymore and here's the next conversation-
"Hey, my health is getting low i need some heals"
"Your a pally, heal yourself"
......................................
So, to prove something to him, i said "ok" and then i bubbled and healed myself. After getting my health to full, he was dead. GG priest. Now, i probably didn't have to bubble (though i was pretty low after all of this dialogue and might not have been able to afford the spell interruption) and lose aggro, but i don't like it when people sit back and expect you to do their job for them.
good for you id let the arse hole die to

My wife was on quest last rites with her lvl 80 mage. While on the platform after the dialog starts, a lvl 71 hunter shows up whith his flying mount next to her. Not really paying attention we guess he just wants to watch. As soon as the mob is attackable he fires a shot off. Again, my wife not really paying attention kills the mob. she kinda missed what happened and didn't understand why she couldn't loot. After I explained what happened, she just re did the quest and everything was fine.
Thinking it was a pretty low thing to do, I whispered the toon and told him about it. He blew it off with the typical stfu and whatnot. I then told him that he could have invited her to a party and both done the quest. again with the stfu. I then realised he was in the same guild as me that I recently joined. I made him aware, with his new response, "well I'm an officer so stfu."
On a side note, When I joined the guild a few days before, It was in response to the "every lvl welcome" spam. right after I joined, I got the, "oh, you're not icc geared."

Back in vanilla a DPS warrior insisted he should quest for
Thunderfury
. Since he was among the old boys eventually the guild mockingly agreed. The guild would loan the main part of the elementium, cores and arcanite to be repayed later. Thus we get this sword assembled. During the next week the warrior quits playing because of real life troubles.
We find out he applied successfully to a guild on another realm. He had already transferred.

Last week was my first time got ninja looted from someone else. We were doing this Onyxia25 pug and someone else is the loot master. I regularly pug 10m and 25m without a problem. Then we down Onyxia and checking out what the loots is. 6 items drop. So the Loot Master proceed to /rw the raid with rolling for loot. then he went silent for a few moment and looted them all, leave the raid and logged. The whole raid went WTF with that and was wondering what the heck he do that for. His name is Shotdown in Crushridge server on Horde side. So I submitted a ticket to GM about it and I got a mail from the GM accuse me of lying and I am just using the term ninja loot just that "i lost the roll" so i can get the item back. I was standing there next to the mailbox and wondering what made the GM to say that. I spoke a few others and 5 players reported him as well. It make me wonder if Blizzard is trying to cover their ass?
It was my first time experienced that for 4 years, I just shrug and move on. One of my guildmate just told me that I will experience it again in the future. I knew it will happen again but when?
*Less confusion, GM is Game Master/Moderator*Well I armory'd him and I can safely say if he was in a guild before, he is no longer.

Today, my friend and I were running SFK for some stuff that we knew would drop. And a quest. We get in, great healer, sweet dps and the awesome tank, my friend. We get to the baron, we down the whole room, loot, then my friend rolls need, the healer rolls need, and the healer won.
My friend goes, give me the ring, I need it. I say the same thing, and we agree that she ninja'ed. She says, "You can't use it after this anyways, it'll disappear." Erm, no it won't I said. She proceeds to say that she'skeeping it and we can deal with it.
My friend and i proceed to let her die 6 times, amidst her putting out the occasional smiley. She then got kicked, and my friend goes, ":)". I laughed so hard.
I'll also add that she needed on everything from Odo to the wolf.

At the end of Stratholme Present-time, this jerkhole from a non-english speaking realm proceeded to need all the stuff that baron dropped. I retaliated by needing them also and won them
all
.
He then screamed in chat with non-english so I ignored him, I asked if the others in the group (who all did excellent) if they wanted any of the loot, said jerkhole opens trade with me and I close him down I said to him
"Gtfo you non-english speaking ninja rogue!"
then he left.
We all had a good laugh and I got to keep all the loot.

It didn't happen to me but I heard in trade of a Ony10 or 25 where the mount dropped and the leader ninja'd it and everything else and his whole guild was in on it. When asked about it he didn't even bother to deny it and said that he fully intended to steal the loot again next time.
