I was rolling through H-VH, and on the last boss a piece of cloth armor drops, I think it was
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=37876
, and everyone passes except for the last person, a rogue. He greeds it without saying anything then immediately leaves the group. I whispered him and called him out on it, asking why did he greed that? He responded with something dumb like, oops it was an accident. I called him a ninja and he told me to "suck it up". That really !@#$ed me off.
Why even bothering ninjaing something your just going to vendor? Seems just blatantly inconsiderate.
Your fault for not rolling need.
You do realise that action would be considered a ninja too?
/facepalm

Not sure if this was a "Ninja" or an unfair moves. The guild was doing Karazhan just for fun, most of the party mates were 76-80. They said the lootwas greed for greed, and if you need it, you need. We had a lvl 70 warrior who was Guild leader who a party mate gave him lead for master loot. I did obtained a rogue token, stating I want it. So at the end of the thing, the Prince dropped a really nice cloak my rogue can use, and I was like, "Ooooo, that's a really nice cloak. So he was to the raid, anyone want <insert item> and I said I do....He takes it.
Guild mates: Dude the rogue wanted it.
GL: She didn't roll on it.
Me: I'm sorry I didn't know there was an actual rolling process as I RARELY raid or do dungeons. (This was my first time doing a raid with them.)
GL> ....Next piece... <Some token...>
Druid> I would like that for RP...
GL>Then it's not an upgrade for you... (He takes token)
After run, GL kicks a paladin out of the group because the GL took a really nice lvl 70 epic ring. And the GL was like to him. "Dude you're level 77! I'm a lvl 70 you will get a better ring in Northrend.
Me>Thank's for the run everyone. I'll see you guys later.
Course I didn't came back for the rest of the night. I was quite mad. I do adore the guild and the members, but it was quite unfair seeing ALL the drops 80-90% of them are not upgrades for most group members as they are too high of a level and my rogue was lvl 74.
/sigh

Well I guess, as of yesterday, it's me :p
Not really, but here's what happened - I was out doing my Sons of Hodir dailies, and currently on the Ice Shards one. Well after I get my 5 shards I head over to where the fire elementals are walk up to an ash pile. I'm right in front of this thing, but my shard decides to fly 15 yards over to the left onto another ash pile, hitting at the same time as another player's. Well, since it was mine that shot off randomly I step back and /say "Go ahead and take it.". He's a pally, and he's just standing there in combat with a fire elemental, and when I say he's in combat I mean he has his back turned to it standing in a consecrate. Whatever, figure he'll turn around, kill it, loot and move on.
Well I go and kill a couple more fire elementals before I head back to grab another ice shard, and sure enougj, he's STILL standing there, consecrating, the same elemental. So, what the hell, he must be afk, I'll grab "my" shard... Then I get the whispers. He starts yelling at me in some butchered form of retardenese. Well anyway....
Him: "aaazzzzzzz hol u an f azz hole!"
Him: "u r fff azz ole"
Me: "I'm sorry. I said you could have it, gave you plenty of time, and you didn't take it, so I did."
Him: "ur stupid i was in battle noob"
Him: "theyr really hard to kill"
*Refrain from commenting*
Him: "noob watd id u thin i was doing pick my but?"
Me: "Look, being rude doesn't help. I made an error in judgment, and apologized. If I could make it up to you I would."
Me: "Hey look, I still have an extra Ice shard, if you meet me by an ash pile you can have it."
Him: "that works"
*See him running towards me*
*Throw shard on ash*
*Random troll ninjas before him*
Me: "......So that happened......"
Him: "later noob"
And that's the last I heard from that holy/prot/ret specced,
Stick
-wielding, pally... Thank God.
I didn't report him, because I felt I should have just left the shard alone in the first place, even though it was just as much mine as his. Though I wonder, was I really in the wrong here?

I ran a sarth 10 pug the a few weeks ago for %^&*s and giggles - after many weeks of farming the place i still hadn't maanged to get my 22 slot bag so was taking a punt.
Idiot of a raid leader clean forgot to use master looter, leaving the loot open to ninjaing - which being a pug was exactly what happened. About half of us passed everything while the raid leader is yelling "pass" frantically. The other half of the raid needs and greeds everything, leaving all loot taken when the dust settles. I didn't need any of it, but being a bit of a self righteous prig I abused the crap out of all those that had rolled need.
I got a few laughs, a few "idc," and a lot of silence from the ninja's. One heals priest relpied though, asking me why I was being so rude etc - she had rolled need on one of the glove sets. I went off my rocker a little, and when she claimed that she simply didn't understand loot rules in raids, I pretty much called bull&*!@.
I armoried her later on that night after calming down a little, and found that she had only being playing for a few months, was from a very small guild, and that her only raid achievement was sarth, dated that night. I felt pretty awful - the poor lass had been telling the truth and made a genuine mistake, and copped a LOT of crap for it.

I run instances with friends all the time..only on occasion, I do a pug..and for good reason, pugs are an infectious disease that need to be eradicated...(uhg, still ^&*!ed)
anyhow, I run with friends..I have allot of friends and we are all on vent together as we run...I'm on my dk saying "man, I really want the
cow wing reaper axe
" and it is an awesome axe...great stats and 3 red sockets!
So, we pull up and run seth halls (my friends got together for me..for this axe) we get to talon lord, we run it three times and then getting ready for the fourth run, one of my friends has to go...We are now down 1 dps, so we get just a random person to come.. a rogue, I forgot his name, we told him "we are here for lidelis (me) axe, so if it drops please pass on it for him" fourth time was the charm, and it drops..so excited. but WAIT! I see the rogue ninja the bastard then claims "I need the gold..I'm broke"
We had to run it two more times till it dropped again. Good xp but a pain cause we all wanted to leave.
My paladin was 69 a day before WotLK launch and I ended up in a Sethekk run. Retri specced so I was pumped after seeing this axe drop and was 100% sure I was getting it. However, the enhancement shaman goes "2handers are great for enha, i'll need this".. rolls, wins and leaves group.
Yeah I was *!@#ed of course but it didn't last long as I knew I'd be leveling in Northrend soon and getting even better items.
