No, because how the hell would we know we was going to dominate AV, WSG and AB! You could just have a whole bunch of players switch sides and then the battle grounds would be balanced!

So what if it was discussed before? if its as you say, something only 'the older members' would remember, heaven forbid us 'new folk' talking about it.
besides screwing with lore on a whim has never stopped blizz before.
well, technically you're not supposed to make redundant posts
and yes, blizz sucks with lore, but faction switching is a bit too much for any lore >.<

There is that small quest if you're a Night Elf where Zenn Foulhoof tricks noob Night Elves into doing his dirty work for him( Zenn's Bidding), and you get on the bad side of the Night Elves for a little while. You're not really a full-fledged enemy, but they do strongly suggest you make up for it by tricking Zenn(Seek Redemption). It's a little detour into betraying your race. ;)
