Hmmmm, well, there were a few patches, some people angry at the maintenance, and Wrath of the Lich King came out..

so 4-5 months? lets see... quite a bit lol, check patch notes, upcoming patches include allowing all races to use racial mounts, slow fall is not going to be self cast anymore. Achievements are here! Gain titles, by completing achievements e.g

Rogues dont' need reagents anymore, Paladins became overpowered by a bit... , Spell pushback has been changed so the max is now 2 second pushback, Stormwind got a Harbor, Barber shops are here!, Dalaran left it's mountain view and is now flying in Northrend visit the hole it's quite big, new talents for a new expansion, Flight master outside silvermoon decided bats were not "in" and got dragonhawks, mounts and non combat pets don't take up bag space now they have a tab :D, Tailors got a
Flying Carpet
and theres a new battleground - Strand of the Ancients (71-79,80). Have I missed anything?

Dont forget the fact raiding is ^&*!ed up. Naxx was pugged from the moment ppl hitted 80, all is way too ez.

Who would have figured that the very first level 80 raid would be easy, right?
Of course, that admission isn't nearly as insightful as your opinion that a single raid or tier determines the outcome of every future raid within WotLK.
