a caster class, but I also want a class that is alot of fun to level.

Got that you want a caster class.

Would you like a tank/heal off spec or just pure dps?

If you want to tank, Druid is your best bet. It's the only class that can do range DPS as well as tank.

If you want to heal you can go with priest, shaman or Druid.

Pure dps is Mage or warlock.

Narrow it down to which roles you want and play those some and do some research as to which you want to PvP with.

I haven't played in a year so I can't help with how well each class is an which is the best spec.

We can't tell you what's fun because we're not you. You may like using DoTs or maybe you like mobility. Or using a pet may be fun for you, others not so much.

OK, thanks for the replies. I think I'll go with a Demo Lock, Metamorphosis looks hilariously awesome.

They also get a minion (Fel Something) that the other specs don't get. That was my main reason for going with Demo, although given that it's not available until level forty-something, I probably should have mained Destro and gotten Demo at 30.
