It's a nice idea, but a lot of improvement needs to be done on these potential spells.
Pulse of Earth: Reading this reminds me of an earthquake, which (if I'm not mistaken) is already proposed several times as a new spell for shamans. Earthquake I would love. Probably it would act in a similar way as a druid's hurricane, meaning it would do damage to all enemies within range and slowing/dazing them. And Blizz could make the graphics of this spell perfect. I would think the shammy going into kneel-position and pressing his hand with the palm down on or into the ground and then start channeling the earthquake.
Pulse of Water: Sounds like mana spring/tide totem. Got that already, so we don't need this anymore. Can't come up with another use of this spell. If I think of something, I will post it.
Pulse of Air: Knocking back opponents a small bit (not too far or they could aggro other groups, but far enough that they can't hit you) sounds nice. My only problem with this is how to use this effectively as a cc. Should one shaman keep on pushing a mob back and back and back? Or a totem?
A CC-spell would be really nice for our class. Lore-wise the CC should be done with one of the elements we can control, so grabbing them with earth, freezing them in place or using air (something cyclone-like, which our druid-friends already do).
