Hehe, start with the vindicator's ornamented stuff and rings/neck. Then work on armor. Hopefully you have started an arena team and are building points if you want to be a pvp force. Use your honor on Gladiator's ornamented only after you have all the rings and non replacable stuff first. You will suck in arena, but points are points. Hopefully you will be able to get a piece or 2 of arena gear before you earn enough honor to get all the gladiator's gear. But get the pieces that aren't replacable yet first tho.
Being that you will suck in arena, do 10 games per week. No more. Then wait for points to roll before doing your 10 games for the next week.
This is all assuming you are new to the pvp thing...

You want to get the stuff that you can't replace with the arena gear first. Vindicator's boots, bracers, belt, ring. Then veteran's ring and salv necklace. Also get your insignia asap. You will use it a LOT in arena. If you can, get the one with resil and a 2min cd. But that is a MUST for pvp. You want to spend your honor and arena points wisely. There are no refunds. So make sure you click the right item. Read it twice and check the lower level to make sure you are clicking the right one if you must.
I also recomend you buy merciless gear that you can't upgrade to vengeful without a really good arena rating. Again check the vendors. Your mace will bring you the most +heals, so you may want to start with that and get it enchanted, but armor will make you live longer. It's really up to you. Gloves are the cheapest in points. So watch for that as well. I go by stat improvement. I grabbed the merciless rebout shield before getting my legs since it increased my armor by 2.5k. Stuff like that. =)
You may also want to grind some rep in lower city and get your prayerbook. I prefer that over a 30k honor trinket with no resil attatched to it...
