I just got this message from our guild forums on Windrunner:
Got an email to my main email address offereng me a chance in the closed beta for wotlk. It was the EXACT same as the beta invite email for TBC from way back, and had a blizz address.
There was a link (that I freaking DIDN'T HOVER OVER) that sent me to a page that looked exactly like the account management page.
I control+V'd my password in, got a response from the site 'server too busy' and was all like "well, they probably have a lot of people trying to register, yo ho ho". 15 minutes later I was booted offline.
Had about 5000 Gold swiped from between 2 of my characters, but no gear deleted.
Running all sorts of scans now just to make sure, but all the info they have was my old password, which (thank god) was a randomly generated series of letters and numbers that wasn't my password for anything else. It wasn't a keylog, it was me just being dumb.
Anyway, don't answer any emails about WOTLK betas. Ugh.
I trust the person that sent this, it isn't just spam... be careful out there!

I remember something a few months back on the WoW official forums with a perosn asking which girl is the hottest, if you click on the link it takes you to your homepage and runs a trojan, antivirus picked it right up. I really wish all of these people would stop doing it.
