Warlocks with a Stun??

Destro locks actually have two stuns.. the first available is in the improved hellfire/rain of fire talent. The demonolgy locks have a stun available with the feguard. I don't see why affliction locks shouldn't have one as well. The unstable affliction spell is a great canidate for it. It can't spammed (1.5 sec cast) and the stun could be a whatever % chance on infliction. btw, the succubus' charm ability is at best, unreliable. If it isn't macro'd to make it easier to use when it's up, she does it whenever the hell she fells like.

Hm, I definitely do think affliction locks are very (over-)powerful, but destruction really needs a buff... Pyroclasm to apply to every destruction spell for example? But no, affliction really need doesn't need a buff, when all the DoTs are on, your enemy is almost guaranteed to die safe he is a druid (a class that also needs a nerf). I really love destruction, it's just not that good for PvP. I mean, I consider myself to know my class quite well, and I'm certainly able to play destruction. But you have almost no protection against a rogue or a warrior bashing in on you.
EDIT: and although UA can't be spammed for a stun, it would still be too overpowered; do locks need it? A decent affliction warlock is an absolute killing machine, even without a stun ("run forrest, run!").

Warlocks already have 2 talent enabled stuns.
I have a better idea - lets give warlocks a spell that is instant cast, does a lot of damage, but over many seconds.

Hey All!
I used to think Locks were overpowered. My main is a rogue and if I wasn't in stealth I couldn't touch one. If i did however it would be a fast death for them. That inspired me to create a lock as my 3rd toon. Although I am only at lvl34 I am begining to see the balance. Locks are not really over powered IMO. Yes Dots are great but when comfronted with mele DPS my casts are interupted including fear resulting in my quick demise. Sure you can sacrifice if you have that pet up. Sucubus can seduce but not all the time. To me it is hit and miss at least at the lower levels. I am sure when I can get 41 points in a tree it will be better but until then a stun would be nice. Or at least a movement slowing effect. I am mostly refering to PvP situations by the way. Am I way off here?
Ok nevermind I didn't even see Curse of Exhaustion

I'll let you have a warlock stun when my scatter shot does damage that scales with my AP, and heals me for the damage done.
And then rename it skillcoil shot.
As soon as I get to wear mail...

Speaking strictly for pvp BG's, specifically level 70 BG's: fear is in reality at most a 3 to 4 sec spell: thats IF a) its not resisted and b) enemy player is not immune (trinket). Im finding usually with the dot's breaking fear much faster, its far far less reliable for us. And because lvl 70 BG's are all that matter anyway, fear has become nerfed to the point of UNDERpowerment. Our deathcoil has CD, and lasts 8 sec's and usually lasts much less than that. Recall those times you waited 1.5 sec's for a fear spell, then have it resisted, then another 1.5 sec's, immune....your dead: thats it. Fear is the only means we have to survive melee....so a 3s stun that procs 10% for 5 talent ponts (STUN...not daze) is something we should have.
EDIT: Aftermath should be a 5s stun, not a daze: as suggested before here. That solves the discussion right there.
