Lotti rose to her feet and quietly made her way over to the other group. It certainly seemed to be their best bet, considering the circumstances, though the succubus had hoped to see more of the dwarves in future... Particularly the mysterious, scantily clad one and her twin.
Then again, the two blood elves looked
interesting,
perhaps this would not be so bad after all... "I hope Bog isn't giving you any trouble," the human said, making eye contact with Ilthaldris and smiling apologetically.

Swooping down, the hawk latched on to its tiny prey. Hearing the grinding of bending metal, the hawk realized that it had made a mistake. Fel flames poured out of the animated tracking device; frying the hawk into a pile of ash. The device landed on a branch, repairing itself. Gorshank did like killing birds; and the device was getting closer.

Where had the pirates got their weaponry? The ship was just outside the port in Ratchet when they had sent the ship sinking with a a gaping hole where the ship's stock had been. In a last ditch attempt to save themselves, the crewmen used their rocket belts to launch themselves onto the jetty, Drenn followed suit.
Escape from evil pirates with weird cannons? Check. Land on the Jetty? Check. Not land on your head and get a headache? Not check.
Blearily getting up and cradling his head, Drenn noticed that nobody else from the ship had amde it to the jetty. Atta goblin, he'd made a powerful rocket belt! Except now he was seeing double of everything. And now his head felt like lead. Just about making out a sign of an inn, Drenn staggered towards it and collapsed on a chair when he reached it which took a veeery long time. He then ordered a a bar of chocolate and a coffee with lots of sugar to wake him up. He would get his bearings then.
