roll mage. they're insanely fun and easy to level. very diff than warrior, too.
warlocks are easy to level, but are they really that different from a hunter? (which you said you didn't want)

One thing to keep in mind is that having your alt on the same realm with your other character is convenient for mailing stuff between them, but having 2 or more characters on one realm also means you can't play either of them when that realm is down.
