It provides a good argument for him being a god.
I think that the reason there were Scourge on Quel'danas was for the same reason they're along the dead scar in Quel'thelas; they're remnants from the third war.
Yeah, but those ones on Quel'danas were charging up into the Scar, attacking the Demons, and trying to get into the Sunwell. Merely a theory of course, but let's be honest, if an incredibly power demon gave you power, then you betrayed, then you learn he's coming back, wouldn't you be a little afraid?
You Varian haters are pathetic.
I can not belive you say you would not do anything to Garona if you were in Varian's shoes, it ain't hard to get you guys in a nerd-rage, you guys would gut Garona until she could not be chopped up anymore if you were in Varian's place. I got news for you guys: You are not perfect. In fact, your not even average.
I can not belive you guys are acting all stupied over a game, and I
really
can not belive Rankkorr made a post twenty feet long because he is freaking out about this.
You people are sad.
Yet your the one who think's he's actually Varian...... and were the sad ones sure.

The demons of the Burning Legion were alive; thus they were enemies of the scourge.

The demons of the Burning Legion were alive; thus they were enemies of the scourge.Right.... hard to tell if your agreeing or not lol. Also, during his second time fleeing, Mel'ganis makes reference that we can't destroy the Lich King without Legion assistence, which is tied into my idea about Kil'jaeden and the other high ranking Legionaires having the power to take away the Undeath Magic.

what I find sad is that once more you find yourself at a lack of a proper argument to counter what I said.
boom, I just proved you that moonbrook fell a few years ago, long before varian was abducted, and instead of either accepting it like a mature person would, you once more resort to insults and flames, and of course dismissal.
then you wonder why you have pretty much only 1 friend on this entire forum.
Good job.
Yet your the one who think's he's actually Varian...... and were the sad ones sure
QFT
I can not believe you STILL can not spell Stupid.
he's not smart enough to spell the word that best describes him
(sorry about that, my bad, I apologize for the name-calling, and I take it back)

Well, I think it's best if you leave it there for all to see, It shows your mature enough not to cover up your mistakes, as in name calling and such.
all rite, all rite, I'll leave it there, with an apology, that came out wrong.

yhea, I didn't meant to start a flame-war, it's just frustrating that yesterday darkton copy&pasted my statement of taking defeats like a man.
he's the one who can't prove that moonbrook fell after varian's abduction, he even claimed I made it all up, and that it was fan-fic.
so here I am, makign a long elaborated explanation filled with lore-quotes, proof, and everyting nice clean, and organized so taht he can see that I never make anything up, and that I do my research and instead of either admiting he was wrong, or at the very least provide a proper lore source to back up why he's right, what he does?
he flames me, calls me pathetic and sad.
man that's frustrating, VERY frustrating.
he really can't be debated with, first he asks me to provide proof to my claims and when I do, he insults me :S what is the world comming to?

If you have an issue, email Malgayne about it. Some action has to be taken about the flaming on the board lately, and it needs it badly.

well at least I apologize when I screw up, I don't use the "i was joking" excuse.
and again, I offered a good explanation as to why I know moonbrook fell before varian's abduction, and darkton just laughed in my face calling me pathetic and sad.
sure I also added an insult ,but I take it back, and I apologize for it :S he may have started it but I sure as hell don't wanna continue it, I just want darkton to A: add proper lore-sources that prove he's right or B: recognize that he's wrong, varian was on stormwind when moonbrook fell, and he ignored their plea of help because he was mind-controlled.
that's not so much to ask is it?

Otherwise I basically agree. ;)

On the other hand, varian lived in luxury and then saw his father killed during a war (hmm... don't kings often die in wars?), which caused him to hate all orcs with a burning passion. His father was killed in a room in Stormwind keep, not on the battlefield, by someone they all thought was an ally Thronarr.

I think varian is a bit of a jackass, especially because thrall has shown us how much better a leader can be. Thrall was found among the bloody bodies of his parents who were murdered by humans, named thrall (which means slave), raised by a human who beat him viciously and regularly, watched his people suffer in internment camps, and freed them, only to be forced to leave due to attacks by humans, and yet still wants peace with the humans. On the other hand, varian lived in luxury and then saw his father killed during a war (hmm... don't kings often die in wars?), which caused him to hate all orcs with a burning passion.
When Garrosh comes to lead the horde, both factions will have jackasses for leaders, but at least the horde knows that Garrosh is a jackass.
Did you play Warcraft 1 and 2? Because you seem to be overlooking the whole "Genocidal war against the humans for no reason" aspect of Orcish history.
And if by "living in Luxury" you mean "Was forced to flee his kingdom with his mind filled with visions of his dead father and the streets of stormwind covered with the bodies of his people, only to try and make peace with the Horde and end up their gladiator slave" then sure.
And the reason that Thrall turned out differently was because he saw all aspects of humanity, the good (Theretha, Sergeant, Sir Rufus Montaine) and the bad (Blackmoore). The reason Thrall is what he is today is because of the humans. He actually acts more like a human than an Orc. *Garrosh* acts more like an Orc.
And also, the Orcs were in internment camps for a DAMN good reason. I'd like to point back to the whole "Attempted Genocide" thing. You seem to think that the only good course of action for the humans to take after the second war would be to let the orcs roam free despite the fact that they just tried to exterminate humanity. Hell, the humans showed mercy with the internment camps; most would've just killed the Orcs on the spot.

How about Eitrigg? Drek'thar? Durotan, Orgrim...
They didn't all go through what Thrall went through either, but they didn't act like Garrosh and honestly didn't want war.

The reason Thrall is what he is today is because of the humans
seriously varian suporters, stop with that stupid crap.
"thrall owes what he is to the humans" "he would had nothing if it wasn't for the humans" "he should be gratefull"
what a bunch of crap.
all he ever got from the humans was a daylie base of beatings, insults, harsh treatment, and imprisonment.
he was trown to fight deathmatches against beasts and even other orcs, to entertain others.
when he escaped, all he adquired he did so by himself.
title of warchief, he earned that, it was not given to him by charity by the humans.
a strong nation on kalimdor, he earned that.
what thrall is today, and what he continues to be today, is because above all else, he never lets rage dictate his actions.
when provoked thrall is an oponent unlike any other you have ever seen, but thrall never let's minor taunts break off his coolness.
just take a look at the atacks of the kul'tiras marines on razor hill, and the twillight hamer atack on theramoore.
both by alliance races, and still thrall kept his cool, he didn't draw hastened conclutions.
thrall owes nothing to the humans, just because he had military training with them doesn't make up for 20 years of abuse, beatings, imprisonment, slavery, and verbal abuse.
the fact that he has seen good humans (wich happen to be only 4) doens't drown the fact that the rest of the humans have wronged him on the past, and most of them without even a good reason.
after he fled teh eastern kingdoms he established a kingdom on kalimdor presicely to be away from the humans and their animosity, and still they have the nerve to follow them and try to exterminate them, and still he pursues peace.
so don't dare to say that thrall owes something to the humans.
a bit of training doen't make up the physical and verbal abuse, the imprisonment longer than nelson mandela, the slavery, and the beatins on a daylie basis.
