Maybe a cache issue? Just tried it again on a transmog set I've previously had problems with, it loads correctly for me.

Can you send a screenshot and browser details to ? We added a fix last week that should have solved the issue where only head and shoulders load. Before the fix, I experienced the same problem as you, but now Pandaren work in all my browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox).

Shields appear to load backward for me. Or maybe inside out is a better term. Basically it looks like the model is holding the shield tucked under his arm instead of... like a shield.
I didn't see anything already posted when searching 'backwards shield' or '3d shield bug' (Besides the thing where shields weren't loading in sets), so sorry if repost and I didn't see it.

What's the "battle ready" animation called in the viewer?

A number of modelviewer improvements went live last night:
Profiler characters now look much closer to actual characters. Hair color, skin tone, lips, and eyes are all much better, as well as special DK-only details like hair and eyes. Super-excited about this one!
Ranged weapons are now visible again on characters in tools like the item comparison.
The full-screen modelviewer now has the correct ratio and doesn't stretch.
Models for several items are improved like the Chi-Ji pet.
Female Pandaren underwear is no longer flappy/visible with armor.

Few more fixes up:
The View 3D button is no longer greyed out on shop items, like the CE mount and pet.
The issue affecting some shields loading the wrong way has been fixed.
Thanks for all the feedback!

I have issues with conflicting uses of the mouse wheel. If I use it on a character profile page to zoom in or out on the model (for example, to examine whether the wrist item is visible or completely covered by the gloves) and then try to scroll up and down on the page, the model also zooms as the page scrolls. No amount of clicking on other parts of the page can stop this; only reloading the page does.
I'm using Firefox (which automatically updates versions and has been doing this since the new modeler's release).

Is it possible to set the background to transparent for this awesome feature?
I'd like to use it to display transmogs on my site :)

Some of the emotes don't work right, at least for me. I was viewing the 3-D model for Borean Embrace, and none of the characters I tried would do /emote salute - they just stand there in a static arms-slightly-away-from-waist position. I am using (up to date) Chrome.
EDIT: I went back a little bit (something I should've done before) and found someone else reported the same problem in October:
For some reason, many of the animations in the model viewer dont work. When i click on them, the character just freezes in the position it was in. i know my flash is up to date, i have 11.9, and im using chrome. is WoWhead updating the model viewer or something?
So, hooray that there are fewer that don't work? They don't seem to be broken for every model - Salute works on the female tauren but not male tauren, that kind of thing. Weird!

I've noticed a performance hit recently; it is much slower on Firefox 28.0/Win 7 SP1 with Flash Shockwave 13.0.0.182 and up to date video drivers on a machine with hardware which should be blazing. It takes an extremely long time to animate, and then closing the window takes a very long time.
Unfortunately, I cannot say when it started as I just noticed in past couple of days.

I can't see the WoD Character Models, even if I'm on wod.wowhead.com... and I also put the "Warlords" option at the model viewer, but I still get the old models :\
Edit: Nevermind, I cleared my browser's Cache and everything is working fine :)

This is most likely due to cache, the Warlords models initially didn't load for me either on the browser I always visit Wowhead on. I switched to a different browser last night, and this morning I was able to view them on the regular browser.

The viewer currently doesn't work on mobile browsers that don't have flash support like safari and chrome, both for IOs and Android, any chances there will be a solution for that in the future?

Ranged weapons (mostly bows) still look backwards on characters equipped with them. They're being held the wrong way.

I don't know if this is related to the model viewer or not, but is it possible that models that use the same model and skin across item types can bee added to the "same model as" tab?
For instance "Primalstrike vest" is leather, but the same model and skin as "Imbued netherweave tunic"
Is this something that can be done?
OK, Perculia answered in a different thread:
We decided against that because you can't use different item types for transmog. It's something we periodically discuss though, I can see how it would be useful to know that a unique mail item actually has a ton of leather options, so you could put together a rogue lookalike set etc.

Tried to view the WoD version of my character but got a big blue-pink model. Tried it with other races and anything from WoD or MoP are blue-pink.
Registered for an account to see if that fixed it. Nope.
Updated flash. Nope.
Cleared Cache. Nope.
Ran CCleaner with everything checked. Nope.
Tried verifying the character. Well, my beard loaded now, but I'm still a big bubblegum monster.

We're taking a look at the modelviewer not loading for multiple races, thanks for your reports.
