Uate is playing with no confidence at the moment.
That's probably the only way to describe what he did leading up to the Ben Hannant try. No commitment to the high ball. He should have taken it before it bounced. Even after it bounced, he was in the best position to take it and STILL didn't commit.
As for injuries, I think Corey Parker's gash in the shin was probably one of the worst I have seen for a while. I read that Parker was asking the team doctors to patch him up so he could get back out there. I don't care what state you are from, thats tough.
I've heard a few Qlders saying they didn't think Parker was an Origin player. I think he is every bit the Origin player.

Oh, one other thing. I honestly think NSW have been the better team in the series so far. I thought they were marginally better in Melbourne but simply weren't able to put the game away (due to nerves and inexperience). There is no doubt in anyone's mind (NSW or Qlder) that they were better in Sydney. So if they can get the win in Brisbane, imagine the self-doubt that would cast into the Qlders' minds - losing the very first series without Lockyer. If we win this year, it could be the start of our own little purple patch in Origin history. If we don't, well Qld's dominance might continue for a while longer yet.

See that's the thing. Qld have played badly. Can we attribute some of this to Lockyer not being there? I don't know. Maybe.
Game 3 will be a psychological battle more than anything.
I've just spoken to a bloke who knows Thaiday personally. Thaiday is fit for game 3 at this stage. Also, apparently Dane Nielsen will be put in centre if Slater is out and Inglis is moved to fullback. So Barba won't get a run (which I am totally fine with, of course!)

I beleive Thurston is the single most over rated player in the game. Without equal!

Could have been a lot better I guess, if I had the following things:
Full-screen footage.
A recording program that didn't leave a watermark.
A movie-editing program that allowed me to make on-the-fly adjustments to the mix of the music and the commentary.

Talent + coaching = champion player
I'm not sure if I've already said it - the doubters are waiting for Krisnan Inu to fail but the reason Des bought him is because he knows that he has the potential to be a champion player if he is coached correctly.
