Although there is one thing I really liked, 3 point talent, each time a bloodthirst critically hits, slam has a chance (100% chance when all points) to reduce its cast time by 100% (making it instant). So that means we can now incorperate slam into our rotations :).
errr... even in wow 1.x, incorporating the 1.5 sec slam into your 2H rotation did amazing things to your dps... with the 0.5 sec it was even better. (edit: that's the 0.5 sec talented cast in 2.x.....
not
the 0.5sec reduction to cast time that used to be 5/5 imp slam in 1.x LOLOL)
I didn't get a chance to get into the tanking tree, but it seems very nice as well, although shockwave seems more for dps viability when soloing then multimob tanking like some think.
this is what i found:
shockwave (Instant, 5 yd range, 20 sec cooldown) - Sends a wave of force in front of the warrior, causing damage (based on attack power) and stunning all enemy targets within 10 yards in a frontal cone for 4 sec. This ability causes a high amount of threat.
looks like another aoe tanking skill.... 25% of ap and high threat... i don't see how that could be mistaken for a solo dps talent on a 20 sec cooldown, especially at the top of the prot tree.

if anything, 5/5 sword and board might help the solo tank out:
When your Devastate and Shield Slam abilities deal damage they have a 2/4/6/8/10% chance of refreshing the cooldown of your Shield Slam ability and reducing its cost by 100% for 5 sec.
the occasional free shield slam might come in handy.
but you get 10 ss's per minute and what, 15-20 dev's? so 2-3 free shield slams per minute.... big meh from me.

They added shockwave to help deep prot solo.
No, they added it to help warriors be able to tank multiple mobs. Some of the other talents (especially vigilance) are also designed to help us in 5-mans, where warriors have been the worst tank class all the way through TBC.
Devastate is the talent that really helps prot warriors solo. Heck, in DPS gear a prot warrior can grind just fine. I have even DPSed on Teron Gorefiend once, doing up to 1k DPS while keeping up debuffs. And I still have 2 green items in my DPS gear, lol.
I'm not saying prot warriors should ever really be DPSing in raids, just that this shows we have enough DPS to do just fine grinding solo. At least as long as nobody ganks us, because we are extremely vulnerable to that.
WWS report
so you don't think I'm completely insane ;o)

The way I see it, Shockwave is both to help deep prot warriors solo, and also help warriors with the multi-tanking. Personally, I think it is more the first, as we can multi-tank as it is using TC, cleave, and tab/Dev. Sure, we are nowhere near as effective as a paladin tank, but if the dps in a group knows what its doing then you shouldn't have any problems.
However, I did read somewhere that Blizzard were considering adding an option where you can change between specs without having to pay 50g every time, making the dps form of Shockwave a little redundant.

Titan's Grip + 2h-Wep spec + DW Spec + Imp Berserker stance + Flurry + Enrage...
That seems like a lot of power, my warr is gonna be a happy orc
eh, you might want to check out the talent calculator:
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=
there's only 9 points to be split between titty grip, 2H spec, impale, and furious leap.

So for fun I poked around on the talent tree. From a fury dps standpoint, it was kind of difficult. I couldn't spec far enough into arms for impale without giving up many other important points in fury. Although there is one thing I really liked, 3 point talent, each time a bloodthirst critically hits, slam has a chance (100% chance when all points) to reduce its cast time by 100% (making it instant). As for arms, I'm not very pleased, seems to discourage speccing deep.
I'd like to know what everyone else thinks about the tree.
i didn't like the arms tree too much either. to be honest i'm worried about the future PvE ms warriors :(
i guess 37/34 might be a decent spec to get the +30% bleed damage talent.

I'm pretty much thinking what a lot of Fury warriors were. DW 2 hander slam rotation. Just need to find the best mix of talents.
