The long and painful war between the Horde and Alliance is finally over.
Garrosh fell in battle a few weeks ago, and was replaced by Varok Saurfang, who led the last few doomed battles. Orgrimmar is held by the Alliance, the orcs and trolls having finally agreed to armistice, with nowhere else to go. Mulgore is blockaded, the tauren unable to reach their allies and now forced to agreed to a ceasefire. The Blood Elves surrendered, withdrawing from the Horde midway through the war. The Forsaken have been hunted to the brink of extinction, and Sylvanas' corpse was thoroughly desecrated before it was finally buried.
Now diplomats from the Alliance meet in Ironforge to discuss the terms of the treaty that they endeavor to submit to the Horde.
Rules:
No Horde. The Horde has no say in the terms of the treaty. They can sign it, or they can continue losing the war.
No fighting. This is a civil debate among diplomats. They're not going to get up and start killing eachother.
Be serious. These diplomats are discussing the future of thousands of living people. Please play your character seriously.
You are allowed to play a faction leader if you are deemed competent, but if you choose to do so, then you must say what you believe
they
would say, not just what
you
want them to say.
Character: Meraan
Location: Ironforge
Backstory: Meraan is a draenei mage who has come to the meeting as a representative of the Exodar. He has little malice for the Horde anymore, but understands that they are a threat that must be dealt with.
"Greetings, my brothers," Meraan nodded. "We have come here to discuss a grave matter. What are we to do about the Horde?"

Bjarn frowned at the Draenei. 'We do tha same like we did before! Put them in camps and let them starve to death!', he yelled.

'Well, not exactly like before, of course', he responded. 'More control, that's what we need. Back when we allowed thm to run loose, that's the day our people were doomed!'

"Except our people are not doomed. Far from it in fact. We were victorious."

Character: Zarasharra Dawnbringer
Race: High Elf
Location: Ironforge
Zara is a noble high elf. She has been sent to the conffrence as one of the representatives of her people. She is young by elven standards, Only about 60 years old, but she is one of the most influential High elves left. She also has an extreme hatred for the horde.
Zara listend quietly. "No that would be overly cruel, though it is what they deserve." she said. "I say we deal with each race individually and punish them seperatly so as to give out the correct punishments for them."

"Indeed this makes sense. We shouldn't punish the Tauren as hard as, say, the Orcs. The Tauren owed a debt to the Horde for saving them, and I respect that. I myself say we should ships the Orcs back to their homeland, Nagrand."

"I agree with you but that may be more difficult then we think." she said leaning forward in her chair her elbows on the table with her hands together in front of her face. "I say we start with the Blood elves. My people have given me a rather lengthy list of punishments for them if the council wishes to hear them."

"Nagrand does indeed seem to be an option," Meraan nodded. "Although, I do not know if Nagrand alone could be home to all the orcs. It also poses the question of whether or not to include those orcs born on Azeroth. Technically, they are natives."

"I do wish to hear them. I myself think the Blood Elves sohuld be given completely to High Elf justice, as the Blood Elves are rebels to Quel'Thalas." Khazran looked at Meraan. "Perhaps we should give them Blade's Edge mountains as well. All orcs who were born on Azeroth weren't old enough to participate in any of the True Wars, except for this last one. As such, I say we should give them the Barrens and perhaps Mulgore to reside in."

"Born here or not they are still orcs and if we force some to go back we must force them all to go back." she said. She nodded at Khazran. "Yes, I agree. if it pleases the council I wish to ask that we allow the High elves to create the punishments for the blood elves."

"As for the Blood Elves, I do not believe that we can punish them too harshly," Meraan nodded. "They stayed from the path, much like my own brothers and sisters from so long ago, but they were forced to out of great hardship. We should pity them, not hate them. And besides, they did willingly withdraw from the Horde. I do not think that that should go unnoticed."

Khazran looked thoughtful. "Perhaps," he said. "Perhaps we give them a chance to redeem themselves like we did with the Knights of the Ebon Blade? Perhaps send them to Outlands where they would have all the raw magic they ever needed?"

'And what about tha Trolls? Even if they're a seperate tribe, they're still vile and cunning. They even used to be cannibals! Can we trust them enough to leave them alone somewhere? I still say we should have the uttermost control over them.'

"The Darkspears never had a history of cannibalism. I say we drop them off in the Lost Isles somewhere and good riddance."

"Indeed, I believe the Blood Elves would flourish on Outland," Meraan nodded. "And there they could live with those orcs who decide to accept our offer to live on Outland," he paused, turning to Bjarn. "As for the trolls, they pose a tricky situation. They have lived on this world longer than any of us. I propose that we offer them an area of land where they might be free, but if they choose to leave that land, they will be treated no differently than the other hostile troll tribes."

The Prophet Velen
Ironforge
You all know what he looks like.
Velen sighed as he looked at the others around at the other delegates. "What you propose for the Horde is merely done by hatred and rage." He said quietly, looking at the dwarf and high elf delegates. "Why should we make them suffer more? As it stands, the Horde is broken and demoralized, similar to how they were after the 2nd War." He looked from one to the next.
"While the Blood Elves are a threat... did not the High Elves withdraw from their cousins due to the differing views about what should be done to keep them alive?" He asked, looking over at the elf. "Following the relighting of the Sunwell, haven't then been changing steadily from the mana mad beings they had been?" He asked, thinking of the Blood Knight Liandra.
