Now that TF2 is free to play, there's been a lot of discussion going around, some of which has derailed threads. So let's stick it here!
I am aware there are old threads on the topic, but most are really, really old and not worth necroing. This is a new place for discussion. What's your favorite class, and why? Which do you hate fighting? What's your favorite map?
And, optionally, post your Steam ID so we can play with you (except I'm totally going to be a hypocrite and not post mine).
So I've discovered my new calling. I play a lot of pyro, and recently I swtiched to Scout. It was fun, but I'm really horrible at Scout. So today, I was on Viaduct (the snow King of the Hill map) and decided, just for the heck of it, to go Engineer. Then I did it for the next level, and the one after that.
Holy crap, I love engineer!

I try to play whatever we need, although I do my best as a heavy, engineer, pyro, or sniper.
My steam ID's the same as my Wowhead name.

I've been pretty addicted to sniper lately. It's amazing how few spies are really able to deal with snipers who don't tunnel vision. And it's getting to the point where I can hit the broad side of a barn fairly reliably.
Also the Persian Persuader is easily the best item in the game. Even though I die shockingly often while using it. And also I can tell every time I do that I get worse and worse at playing demo properly.

I hate the Persian Persuader. I always die from it. /sigh
Although I absolutely LOVE LEVEL 3 SENTRY GUNS. Like, serious hardcore affection for those guns, especially when I have a level 3 dispenser next to me.

Just keep pushing them away. Pyros always kill me because they airblast whenever I'm almost close enough to take a swing. It'll take forever to kill a demo if there's a ton of metal lying around but you won't ever be in a lot of danger.

Add me! I'm Queggy on Steam as well. You can almost always find me playing 24/7 doublecross on TeamInterrobang's servers. Favorite class is definitely sniper. I play every class, but I definitely play medic, heavy, and spy the least. After sniper I probably play scout, demoman, and soldier the most. Not in that particular order, I don't think.

Never heard of TeamInterrobang, which probably means they don't do Payload.
Edit: After killing a spy several times in a row, he whined that Jarate, Bleeds, and Fire shouldn't make you show up when using the Dead Ringer. I think he was even being serious.

I'm not sure where the place to do feedback for that is, but you might want to do a comment line. E.g. 'I only pvp' or 'I only play CP/PL maps.'

Nah, people should just post their custom steam url or profile id so we can actually find them. ;)
Examples:

Halolz
servers.
I mostly play Spy unless there are two or more on the team. >.> After Spy, I play Scout/Soldier/Demo equally and if those are full I play Medic/Pyro/Sniper. I never touch Heavy/Engie. Those two are not fun for me. :|

Architecture school kind of sucks away your life, not leaving you the time to do much else. I'm in the studio pretty much 24/7 now.

Since this Google doc started I've gotten a couple random steam invites. I checked the names against the Doc and couldn't find anyone on both lists. I suppose this could conceivably be a coincidence but if you're on Wowhead and trying to add me on Steam I won't accept until I see your name on Neutronimity's document.
