a singing char wouldent fit into wow and wtf a singing orc or tauren lol.
another thing is bard = new weapons and i would f*king kill blizzard if i killed prince arthas and he dropped a &*!@ing guitar or something like that i just think its overall a very bad idea
... in your opinion. Lorewise there is no problem. We have a circus in WoW so why not a bard? My bard uses ranged weapons and singing, the lute would be something self made or probably a raw material buyable at your local music store in OG, enhancable with magic and Runes and stuff. To cut of the ties to D&D I called my bard Wandering Jester. I think I have written about it earlier in this thread.

ok all u guys r dissing the cowboy and bar5d but its the only total original ideas that have come out of this discussion. althought no one talked about the werewolf or vampire ideas =p. vampire= horde werewolf=ally. Since playing morrowind on my xbox i think we should get blizzard to let us create our own classes. IT'd be interesting seeing other peoples imaginations.
Cowboy was degraded to bull%^&* - and rightly so. The bard was one class I picked up to. Read the whole thread please. Same goes for other suggestions. There were some good ideas with talent trees and abilities, one of the best was the monk.
Vampires and Werewolves dont exist in WoW... We have discussed that thoroughly. Yeah, there some peops transforming into Worgen due to a curse but there are no Werewolves. Vampires are also not existent in WoW. Its said the Nathrezim act a bit like a Vampire we would know. But both are no classes. Talking about hero races then again would also make no sense for those two. Worgen are fierce, no way they would join the Alliance. The Nathrezim are members of the Burning Crusade and demons - no way they would join any Azerothian faction. And dont start with Varimathras... he is forced to be the Majordomo of Sylvanas and betrayed her already once by letting Balnazzar survive.
And last but not least: Giving players the ability to create their own class in WoW would lead us into disaster. No PvP balance and imba PvE chars - no thank you. Morrowind has its own game universe. You shouldnt compare it to WoW. Besides that: isnt Morrowind a single player game? This would be the epic fail...

However, I already told you why Vampires and Werewolves are nonsense. You said new classes
for WoW
. WoW has a lore. You should try to not leave its boundaries. If you are against logic and lore you should play Pokemon - with every new game you get another world and thousands of new pokemons!
In this case fantasy is nice but by building the limit "for WoW" you limited the possible fantasy too - and believe me: I have a lot of fantasy. But talking bull%^&* has nothing to do with fantasy. Its just plain stupid...
