He raised an eyebrow at her and pointed at the sides of his head where grey hair was seen. Lodestone considered for a moment, then held up one finger again, and pointed at the rune on the back of his hand. He did that three times, then held up his fingers and showed her 20 again, then did that one more; one finger the rune and 20.

"Ok no offence but I'm not good with this." She said then thought for a moment. "By anychance are you one of teh runemasters that is connected with nature?" She asked.

Lodestone shook his head and sighed, looking around and spotted an open area of land. He walked over to it and grabbed a stick and wrote in the dirt:
I'm alive and I was 20 when I got my first rune. Since then, the runes have been inscribed onto my body as I learn them. Up until the Third War, I could speak just fine, but after the demon attack, where I was more focused on keeping myself alive, I healed it wrong and only rebuilt the air way and food way, I missed the vocal cords.
He finished writing and looked over at the Draenei.

"Oh that makes more sense." She said reading the ground. "I was just thinking that if you were connected to nature in some way them maybe you could talk threw the spirits and I could here you." She said.

Lodestone wiped the message out and wrote a new one.
Not the point of runemasters; our powers come from within ourselves, increased in strength by the spell runes.
He told her, then wrote another line.
They are like your totems, a way to increase our innate powers.

"Sorry you're the first runemaster I've met and I don't know much of how your powers work." She said then sat down next to where he was writing. "While we do use the power within us. Us shaman's also call on the power of the spirits to aid us." She said.

The dwarf wiped it away clean again and wrote another message.
You call on the powers of the Spirits even from within you.
He told her and pulled up his sleeve, letting her see the chain wrapped around his wrist to his shoulder, as he pulled some free, and pointed at a rune there.
When I use that one, I gain the strength of 10 similar to how you can call on the Earth to make you stronger.
He said, then pulled the sleeve back down.

Lodestone looked at her and shook his head. He wiped the dirt clean again and wrote some short answers.
Chain enchanted; movement spells and light to myself. When I hit someone with it, full weight behind it. 20 feet of it, wrapped around my arms and body, all inscribed with runes. Excellent weapon against anything.. the dragon kill yesterday proves that.
He said, no hint of pride on his face.

"Wow that's amazing. I have a totem that lets me call the aid of the elements only the most powerful shamans could summon." She said putting the totem down in front of her.

Lodestone nodded and cleaned the dirt again.
I suppose there are some similarities between a shaman and a runemaster.
He told her and sat back for a moment looking at the totem.
So, why are you here in Deepholme?
He asked her, looking up at her face.

A look of sadness spread across her face. "When the destroyer came to the surface world he did harm to more then our world. He threw off the balance with the spirits and sent the elements into a rage. I hope to bring the balance back and I think it can start here within the realm of earth." She said

Lodestone nodded then looked over at the start of a large amount of noise. He saw the two gnome arguing about something and pointed at them, then looked at the shaman.
