Must say Blizzard deserves an éloge after patch 4.3. So many good things have happened that it's difficult not to see the former patch as a fail. Transmog really is exactly what wow needed, it does indeed feel like a breath of fresh air, and something that unites players in their appreciation of the fun this game really was about from the beginning. Making them see old content, perhaps even challenge themselves to solo it.
The new dungeons are visually fantastic, and *knock on wood* actually even fun! And this comes from an ingrained dungeon-hater who'd rather level his young toons painfully slow, alone in the dark, than having to bear with the chores of pve instances. New dungeons aren't challenging, but few people want challenging from what is mostly just currency farming.
The new darkmoon fair is brilliant, suggestive-looking and ambitious, and there's actually real magic hovering over it, the kind one would experience in childhood going to carnivals.
And finally, pvp looks like it finally is going in the right direction, which for myself is the main merit of them all. Blizzard seems to slowly steer class balance in the right direction, in spite of the great difficulty of navigating within something with such a huge amount of parameters.
There's more, but in a nutshell - the game is vibrant again! Gj blizz :)

Well, you put it well but, mogging aside, it's as washed out as ever for me.
My sub ran long enough for me to do the new dungeons and while they looked nice they were way too easy and at times just silly (a weird ethereal puppet hand...?!). These are supposed to be the Halls of Reflection of this expansion but in every case you could afford to ignore the mechanic of the fight and still succeed.
For example the fight in the third instance where you need to LoS the boss behind another character to avoid getting interrupted. We did it with 3 casters who has no idea about this mechanic. We all did about the same damage as the tank but we finished the fight. That should never happen.
I will say that the time travel boss is ridiculously fun for Demo but again, not really a challenge.
I dunno, I don't wanna disagree with you because if you've found it to be breathing life in to the game again for you then that's really fantastic and I hope others feel the same. It's probably just that my heart is already a long time ago and in a galaxy far, far away and I'm too far gone to be reached right now ^_^

The thing is you can try and make sense of it by saying stuff like haste is better for this, and since the DG nerf that. But those are all just words and what you want is numbers, and uhm I want those numbers too but I don't have them at the moment so I am sticking to mastery for the moment.
But yeah the 'words' make sense especially if you consider the DG nerf, the new incinerate filler (more faster casts so more impending doom procs), MWC not being BiS so more meta activations at lower mastery levels might be better. However you would still need the numbers.

Is it possible to solo OS3D 10?

I think I completely screwed my demo gear :(
I've been focusing way too much on mastery and leaving haste behind, now I've got a static 66% extra damage to pets and a 86% damage on demon form, but I'm down to nearly just 8% haste :/
I think I'll have to get some more haste stuff this patch

I think its way too easy.
And about haste, as soon as you upgrade your MWC you should get more haste.
Stat Priorities
It is recommended you download the Simulationcraft tool and base your decisions around your individual character. For example if you are using *Moonwell Chalice* with heroic Firelands gear, it's quite likely Haste will be lower than Crit. However, the below order should be correct in most situations.
Lower (iLvl 359 - 378) Gear Levels
Int = Hit (to cap) > SP > Haste (1007 Rating) > Mastery > Haste >= Crit
Mid (iLvl 378 - 397) Gear Levels
Int = Hit (to cap) > SP > Haste (1573 Rating) > Mastery > Haste >= Crit
Higher (iLvl 397+) Gear levels
Int = Hit (to cap) > SP > Haste (1993 Rating) > Mastery > Hast >= Crit

So moonwell chalice will end up being replaced? I thought it was the BiS for demo
Also, whats the deal about 1900 haste? Its the 6th tick for corruption and immolate?

It was in 4.2 (firelands) yes. But as you can also see in the link above it won't be for end-game 4.3 (dragon soul). In this patch
Will of Unbinding
,
Cunning of the Cruel
and its HC brothers will be BiS.

I feel obliged to point out (because no one else has) that this is only if you are 3/31/7 Incin spec. If you are the old (but still perfectly viable) 0/31/10 SBolt spec, Mastery is still the best for you.

Rekijan
Ah that is indeed correct and is talked about in the full article I linked. But when we talk about specs and getting the best dps we usually look to one build/rotation that does the best single target dps.
The old SBolt spec is better for when you want to multi dot and such but the incin spec is the best single target dps so thats what I go by.
