i can happily confirm that i picked up the rare NPC Terrorpene the burning turtle today at 11:00am on executus :).
found him around Sulfuron Spire (Throne of fire) in Mount Hyal
he is also not trappable.

For whatever reason, there isn't an NPC page yet. However, I would agree with the unspoken implication that discussion forums are not the place for such things. Other than a "yay for you," there isn't much more to say about the whole thing.
Yeah... this isn't thottbot. You'll notice a great deal of "I found this pet at on !" type comments on rare pets are downranked... mainly because they don't generally effect us after about 1-2 days at most.
Whether you caught it at 2am or 2pm, a Tuesday or the day before Christmas doesn't really matter in the grand scope of things.
... sorry if that sounded a bit mean, I just wanted to clarify.

I tamed Terrorpene this morning. He hits very hard (10k) with his channeling spell. I had 98k when I started, used a haste potion and was at around 35k when he was mine. ...Damn is he good looking! :P
...ah and btw. just tamed Jadetooth a few minutes ago. I love my rare pet stable. ;)

I found him at 68,25. I am absoloutley certain that he has a 12 hours spawn timer from my experience since I asked in trade chat if anyone saw him and someone said that he killed him at 8 p.m. so I went to camp him at 8 a.m. and found him one hour later.
For Ghostcrawler, I decided to go and check his spawn route right after I entered the abyssal depths, someone typed "FUUUU GHOSTCRAWLER FUUUUUUUUUUU" I asked him where he saw him and he said that he was running around in the abandoned reef, I go there and there he is xD

Make sure you have enough Health or CD's available to actually tame Terrorpene. I parked my paladin right above the lava area and have been checking for him for a few days from time to time. He happend to be up early in the morning and for once no 85's were around. Hoped on my hunter and flew there to tame him.
I poped Rapid Fire and was level 84 trying to tame him. He killed me the first time. I resed, healed up and tried again. This time I was lucky enough to get the tame complete before I died, even though he killed me anyways. FYI, I'm level 85 with ~75k health. I had ~1k health by the time he killed me when I finished the tame. His channeled dot does ~11k-12k damage per second.
He does move around the lava area. This place was always camped by 85's for the past few days I've been looking for him. I suggest checking at odd hours or early early in the mornings. You may get lucky. I've gotten a ton of tells in town and even while out questing. It was perfect for me because I was using a regular turtle for it's tanking and shell ability. Terrorpene is such an awsome looking hunter pet.
