Uses would be primarily PvE content. Could change Deterance to Survivalist and Trap Mastery into Survivalist or Go for the Throat.
Shot rotation would be Auto Shot - Arcane Shot - Auto Shot - Steady Shot - Auto Shot - Steady Shot - Repeat

and the we'll be able to help you. My computer can't go to the EU WoW site for some reason.
But, if you are trying for a Survival PvE build, I'd go for something
like this set-up
. And try and have about 550-600 agility unbuffed before you spec into it. PvE Survival builds rely heavily on massive amounts of agility.

I have a good degree of control of my pet but find relying on something else to do my DPS less than thrilling. Is MM in PvE such a bad thing?

I thuink it depends on what you are doing. If you are 25 man raiding I would say go with something more like

That build lacks 5/5 Imp Arcane Shot which i need for my shot rotation. Am not a fan of using Multishot due to it breaking CC.
This build is to be a general PvE build, good for Raiding with some good trapping.

Ok, i'm thinking of this spec for more raid based PvE

Alterations for Multishot instead of Arcane Shot, the point in Imp Arcane shot is a filler, useful if i need to dispel anything.
I could move 2 points from Surefooted to Improved barrage for more dps once i'm hit capped.
