“Thanks,” she said, following in stride behind him. “Azuka. Nothing more, nothing less. And to be frank, I can’t exactly recall the predicament I was in. There’s fleeting memories, but all of it’s a haze.”
Azuka rubbed her hands together, trying to remember anything at all. There were emotions, even the sensation of rocking back and forth that came to mind, but nothing that solidified what had happened to her nor what exactly her past was like.

"Hrm. Potentially just a side effect of the shock. If it doesn't get any better after you've had some time to relax we may need to see about getting you more professional assistance," Leopold muttered, tapping the fingers of one hand against his thigh as he mused aloud.
He worked his way through the crowd at a steady pace, past a number of the docks until they came upon the one that held Crassus' large yacht.

"I'm not offended. I am never offended. Except when I am. You will know when I am, because then the gloves come off, and the steel boots go on, and people lose their knee caps." She suddenly threw her hands in the air. "I have spoken! Wooooo!" she cried, suddenly rushing up the stairs.
"The future don't look bright, does it?" Crassus asked with a sidelong grin aimed at Clover.

Clover sighed forlornly, following the two back up the stairs.
"There are some perks the highlife," Leopold replied, making his way towards the stairwell leading down.
"Leo!" Clover cried, seeing her twin at the top of the next set of steps. She hurried past the suite after him.
He nodded, "The woman is alright, if a bit dazed. I did invite her aboard, so I will accept any consequences or expenses as a result of that decision."

Crassus turned at the boys voice. He examined the girl curiously, his mouth in a lazy grin showcasing his CASH grill, fur coat resting heavily on his shoulders and dozens of rings bejeweling his fingers sparkling in the golden light of the chandelier. "Mmm. Hold ya to that."
"Crassus!" Slash called, slouching into one of the couches. "Beer me!"

“My name is Azuka,” she said, introducing herself to the woman and to the man who seemed to be the aforementioned “acquaintance.” She admired the man’s taste for exquisites, but disliked the frivolous showing of his wealth on his body.
“I must thank you all for inviting me to as well as hosting this . . . interesting establishment.”

"My sister, Clover," Leopold introduced the dainty woman at his side, who clapped happily after looking over Azuka.
"Marvelous! You're looking quite fine for having washed up! Come now, come now, sit down," Clover exclaimed.

“Why thank you, Clover, I would love to sit down” Azuka said, reveling from the compliment. She was a little too excitable for Azuka’s taste, but a free place to stay was something Azuka could not toss away so easily with snide remarks. Here, in this new city, she would have to make allies, at least until she could figure out what the hell happened to her.

Justice thought to himself.
"You are in my mind. In my body. I will not let you control me."
"Have it your way. But remember I will always be here. You and I are joined now and nothing will ever tear us apart. As evil as I may seem, I will only do what you want deep inside"
The voice replied as laughter slowly faded away.
"Only if it is cooked."
Justice said with a mischievous grin on his face.
"Sorry about that little laps. I go from being in the ocean to killing people in less than a day, so do forgive me"

The figure pushed open the door and the pair found themselves in a completely different hallway than the one they had originally entered from.
"This world changes on a whim," they said, one hand pressed against a wall as if afraid it would suddenly disappear if they didn't. "Windows change, rooms move, buildings disappear."
There was no stairwell. The figure shifted towards three elevator doors set in a line, and hesitated before the buttons, fingers hovered over the arrow pointing down.
After a moment's consideration, he pressed up.

Turning to her brother, Clover seemed to settle down for a moment. She grasped his hands and looked him in the eye, "Now how about you, are you doing fine?"
"Of course," he said, a reassuring smile crossing his typical dutiful expression.
Clover nodded, giving him a light pat on the shoulder as she found another one of the couches to lounge back in. Leopold sat next to her, observing both Crassus and the other woman, unknown to him at present, crying out for a drink.
