The amount of damage that I take isn't a big deal, but, these guys knock me down so many times in a row, then when I come out, they start it again, that I cant kill them. Is there a trick to this? I am a prot pally, and can handle quite a bit, but these guys are rediculous.

If they're anything like the ones to get to the tiger boss, If you're 80 you can just pass through 'em without aggroing.

There is a point when crossing the bridge that you run into a priest and an Axe thrower. The combo is nearly impossible to beat, unless you can produce about 2k + dps of burst damage before the priest heals himself.

I can cleanse the poison from the snakes, so they aren't bad. Crocs aren't bad either.

My druid friend and I cleared Zul'Gurub on Tuesday night. There were a number of times that we ran into a pack of these, and they're really tough to handle. The best thing we managed to do is lock them down as best we could, and premeditate their axe throws to try to avoid them.
When you're hit with one, you're more or less screwed. Since you get knocked down, each subsequent axe thrown will re-knock you down since you can't dodge or anything. This was varified with me using dodge trinkets to avoid a chain thrown axes.
Since you don't have as many stuns as I do (warrior) I don't know what else to say, but I would mark the axe throwers, charge in and between the charge, Concussion Blow, Shockwave and proc chances with Imp. Revenge, we managed just fine. My friend also used Cyclone to lock them up.
Have fun with Hakkar. He was a pain in the ass, we had to bring a third healer because he'd always mind control me, then syphon my friend, and if he died (happened a number of times) he'd reset. >:[
